Having thrown the Justice Department under the bus yesterday, it appears the FBI Director has not managed to pass the hot potato of blame/responsibility for Trump's wiretap accusations. As The Hill reports, a White House spokeswoman on Monday said she "doesn't think" Trump accepts Comey's denial of the president's claims.
As a reminder, a New York Times report Sunday said Comey asked the Justice Department to publicly reject the president's claims. Senior U.S. officials told the Times that Comey has said the president's wiretapping allegations are false and asked the Justice Department on Saturday to publicly correct the record. The FBI and DOJ declined to comment to the newspaper.
But, as The Hill reports, it appears President Trump is not buying Comey's denial that former President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the campaign.
"No, I don't think he does," Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America."

I has been my belief all along that Trump should have ousted Comey on day one. That man is not to be trusted.
Apparently Comey doesn’t speak to McCabe much.

Ignore this story. It’s a misdirection play by NYTimes. Obama and his whole criminal enterprise, including the MSM, are totally screwed and they know it.

Comey is the Head of the FBI. Not the CIA, DNI or any of the other Alphabet Soup agencies.
If the warrant for a intercept was applied for on the basis of Foreign Agents, Comey wouldn’t have been in the loop.
Or this is a ploy to smoke out the black hats.
Comey Denies, meanwhile the Obama people are busy trying to destroy evidence. Meanwhile, Comey, Sessions and Trump sit back and check last weeks records with what gets deleted this week and by who. Maybe even a few FBI wiretaps themselves have been applied for and granted to find out who Sally Yates, Lynch, Holder, Clinton, VJ and Obama are calling right now to get things cleaned up.
No quote from Comey. No quote from Trump. No quote from Sessions. No public statement from the FBI or Justice. Just “sources” cited by the NY Times. Which means it’s all a bunch of BS.
Anything quoted from CNN or the NY Times is suspect. Any news outlet that uses NY Times as a source is also suspect. Including some on Fox News this weekend.
That is not a rejection, it is a statement of what one has seen.
I am also not so certain the Comey thing isn't a ploy. If Comey has, asked DOJ to deny (remember, the NY SLIMES has offered NO EVIDENCE of that assertion) the wiretap allegation it MAY be because he knows DOJ cannot deny. Also, Comey may not have been involved if it was FISA.
Fire Comey. He’s a Democrat stooge.
Depends on the meaning of “wire tapping” is.

Is it me or does it seem that Comey’s only function is to tell the press that NOTHING illegal has ever been committed by anyone in the Federal Government?
Actually, the FBI is responsible for counterintelligence so they should be in the middle of it.
