CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago nearly went a full week without a fatal shooting.
The Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune reported the city had passed such a milestone on Sunday morning for the first time in more than five years.

Trump once again addressed the violence in Chicago last week during his joint address to Congress. He didn’t mince words either.
Perhaps the boys in the hoods of Chicago got the message.
Trump’s the kind of guy to have 500 federal officers on the ground there all of a sudden.
You don’t want to call that kind of rain down on your head.
We’ll see if this continues.

LOL — The local mainstream media reported that Chicago went a whole week without a homicide as of Sunday — CONVIENTLY not noticing the Saturday homicide. You can’t make this stuff up.
