Unfortunately, despite President Trump’s call for the country to rally behind “law enforcement,” we have far too many LEO’s who are NOT deserving of his praise. So along with everything else on his plate, he needs to figure out how to weed out the trash that exists in far greater numbers than anyone believes.

Boy are they going to enjoy prison. Cops in prison are always popular. 5 of the 7 are sons of Obama. Just sayin’.

“Baltimore—a shining beacon of light for the DemonRat party!”

It isn’t just Baltimore, police corruption is everywhere! In our little East Bay (that’s San Francisco Bay) community, our PD found that one of it’s officers was working with a PI and a divorce lawyer to entrap men going through a divorce with “trumped up” DUI charges as a means of “softening them up” by those working for their spouses. Also, several of our sheriff’s deputies in the county “Narcotics Task Force” were caught selling drugs out of the group’s secure property locker and one of them was selling illegal guns as well. Fortunately in these cases the crooked cops were caught and everyone, including the female divorce lawyer are currently serving state prison sentences. We have a right to good, honest cops!

Prosecute criminals .... all of em, badge or not, rich, poor, presstitues, polidiots and more.

Were I making the rules I’d stop foreign aid to nations that sponsor terrorism and build 9 new supermax prisons with that money and fill em up with convicted criminals.

Nancy Pelosi’s father, as mayor of Baltimore, so thoroughly
embedded corruption into the city government that it will never be straight again.

I have visions of long chain gangs hauling cement and hoisting large cinder blocks for the southern wall.

Agreed.

About 10 years, there was the Metro Gang Strike Force here in Minneapolis-St Paul. Almost to a man, they were as crooked as hell.

It’s a bit of a long read but if you look at pages 2 and 3, you can see the bullet points as to why they were shut down.

IIRC, no one went to jail or received any kind of substantial punishment for what happened either.

The thing is, there’s seldom any substantive punishment meted out when corrupt cops are found. We had a situation here in CA where a Russian immigrant truck driver was nearly beaten to death by California Highway Patrol officers during a stop on the way over the Sierras.

Read this:

And we never even get to read the settlement, including how many of our tax dollars were given to this man.

It's what cops do. Maybe 10-15 % on the take, or love abusing. Could be greater, no real way to know.

The rest - all of them - cover for them or remain silent. There is no honor code in law enforcement.

They really need to organize cops into 5-10 person units. If one of the unit goes rogue, the whole unit goes down.

“There is no honor code in law enforcement.”

Yes, and then there are their “union reps” who defend their indefensible acts.

If these “officers” have any honor at all, seppuku is an option. Screw them if there truth to this. Corrupt government reaps what they sow

It’s hard to know how many cops are bad or which ones they are. I am betting their fellow officers know or at least suspect. I would like to think that they have enough pride in their profession and in themselves that they would not allow this. Maybe there is fear of retribution for whistleblowers. Or maybe it’s worse than that. Maybe the bigger corruption is further up the chain and protects the bad cops.

I had 2 cops in my family, and one from the younger generation is going into LE. So I definitely support cops. Just not the rotten apples among them.

I don't think anyone has improved on Serpico.

The Blue Wall of Silence is very real. You need to require annual financial disclosures with random audits, unit accountability, and significantly enhanced punishment for wrong doing. We seem to hand out “ public trust” positions like candy and don't require that cops need to earn that trust.

Cops can be heroes and many are. But even these shame their own honor with their acceptance of evil in their own ranks.

I live just north of the Baltimore City border and I couldn’t be happier. This is the Sessions Justice Department expediting what Trump promised in his campaign. Cleaning up the sewage in the big cities’ governments. Next up are the gangs the Oblamma gang enabled. That’s one main reason why there is a well orchestrated hysteria to get rid of Sessions.
