What a bunch of crap. According to the article, AG Sessions met with the Russian Ambassador twice last year. Once in his capacity as a member of the Senate armed services committee. The other time with a group of ambassadors and a Heritage Foundation event. This is a bogus headline with no story. Phony baloney plastic banana good time rock 'n' roll BS.
It’s all over Twitter with some liberal bigots calling for Sessions to resign and face jail time. Good grief I am so glad I read your post. I swear I am sick of these exaggerations making headway on Twitter and other bogus news organizations. I hear it is all over MSNBC and CNN too....no surprise.

The context of the question was that he was asked in his capacity as a member of the Trump campaign if he communicated with them. The meeting with the ambassador was under his activities on the armed services committee. There was no lie and Sessions staff has already answered this. Twitter’s blowing up become the Dems are paying millions for twitter bots.
Any person who spoke recently with a Russian is no longer fit for public service. New McCarthyism. Except, there is no McCarthy, only the fake news media.
I think it’s time the press is required to answer for their lies. There’s no first amendment right to slander.
