Staying fit is nice, but in our mid 80’s our health can easily deteriorate for so many reasons.
The eugenicist doth protest too much.
Ginsburg will hold on til the very end, I’m sure.
Grandkid can leave a penumbra on the stairs...
She might want to bring her trainer with her to court, so he can poke her every time she falls asleep.
I predict Trump will replace three justices in his first term. Just a hunch I know.
Just 5 min ago I got a Robo-call in support of Gorsuch and wanting me to call my MI Senators to support him.
There is no way Debby Slobbercow or Gary Peter would vote for him, but I called and left a message.
Ginsburg plans to stay on the Court, huh?
I’m sure Scalia would have said the same thing in January 2016.
Sometimes, life has other plans.
I remember Scalia thought well of Elena Kagan, so go figure.
Maybe there really are some circles where people of opposite viewpoints actually have rational discussions?
Naaaaah.
Ruth is hanging on to hang on to the limelight for as long as she possibly can. Once she is out of the Supreme Court, she fears that no one will pay attention to her ever again. I am sure that she assumed that Hillary would win. So at this point her selfish tenacity has backfired on her. She most likely will be gone before the end of Donald Trump's first term. If she is still alive she will watch the composition of the court swing to the right in a way that none of us have seen before.
Scalia and his wife were very good social friends with Ginsberg and her husband.
We can only hope, we need to take back our constitution and stop judicial activism from the bench.
What’s wrong with her hand?
She is refreshingly old school in that she doesn’t let her ideology determine her friendships. That said, she does appear to be wrong on most issues.
“What’s wrong with her hand?”
After a double take, I realized she’s wearing black gloves.
Ginsburg and Scalia were friends and it’s a lifetime appointment. Her call when she wants to step down.
God’s call as to when she steps down.
Ginsburg was the leader in abolishing federal and state gender discrimination. Her work as a private attorney specializing women’s rights and her role in the ACLU has made America more just.
“Antonin Scalia praised Ginsburg’s skills as an advocate, “she became the leading (and very successful) litigator on behalf of women’s rightsthe Thurgood Marshall of that cause, so to speak.’”
She is one the few principled liberal SC justices in modern history.
