California is already on defense in its battle with Donald Trump.
We need offensenow.
Trump is attacking our state as if it were just another political opponent. His strategy is not merely to punish California; he wants to rob our state of its political legitimacy.
So the president of the United States has falsely claimed that Californias elections are fraudulent exercises involving millions of illegal votes. Hes frequently accused our biggest cities of endangering our country by failing to assist with deportations. He has called California out of control and threatened to defund state programs.
Such attacks are so potentially damaging (since California is the worlds sixth-largest economy and a vital model of diverse peoples prospering together) that we need to fight back much more directly.

Let leftist Calif. pay 100% to fix Oroville Dam damage.
Totally Agree
This is good to see as it shows they are desperate and without recourse or options.
They have already shown their fascism in a number of instances so it is apparent that any pretense of ‘offense’ is doomed to fail.
They can try to delegitimatize the President but they seem to forget this tactic failed miserably in the last 19 months.
Meanwhile, the President’s popularity grows solidly.
Any attempt to sabotage the current state of affairs are owned by democrats meaning they would be adding to the mess they created, to begin with. It will be a long. long time, if ever before they can even hope for leverage in turning the politics to their favor.
As the President said today, emphatically “I’VE INHERITED A MESS!”
California’s leadership long ago guided the state into Kookville, U.S.A., the land of fruits, nuts, and protected foreign criminals lurking in the shadows.
They have driven more top ranked businesses out of the state, than most states ever see.
They’re absolutely as proud as they can be about this.
We have the city with the lowest child presence in the nation. We have a city with a populace less than 50% of can function in a business English environment. We have a super-train nobody wants, that doesn’t exist going nowhere, with our dams, roads, and other infrastructure crumbling.
We’re in desperate need of more water, have 700 miles of Ocean front, and fewer desalinization plants than a nation with 7 million inhabitants. California now has 38 million inhabitants.
The state is an incredible state. Despite it’s wicked leadership, controlled for the last half century by a solid lock Democrat Legislature, it still manages to eek out a GNP that eclipses all but five nations around the planet.
Heaven only knows what this hell-hole could do with decent leadership. We certainly know what it can do with a leadership from the other end of the spectrum.
California should be so lucky as to find a leader that could work with Trump, not alienate him and try to break away to commit the final act of harry carry.
As if there's proof one way of the other. The Dems don't want any body checking into it.
It's what pathology is all about.
Millions of illegals, lax voter ID laws. Right now there's little incentive for an illegal to risk jail to vote in a presidential election, seeing as California's electoral votes are a done deal. Switch to a national popular vote, and, well...
California has already discredited itself as the land of nuts and flakes.
Or Mexifornia.
The TSA has notified Arizona that their drivers license does not meet standards required in order to allow its citizens to board airplanes beginning in 2020.
I think that the TSA should make a determination that a state that issues drivers licenses to illegal aliens should be sanctioned with the same restriction!
The secessionist State of Kalifornia is a disgrace. It isn’t worthy of respect, until it gets its act together or is reconstructed.
IMHO, this guy talks like he’s smoking something. Paranoia is rampant in his skull.
Show us the data, or step out back of the barn where we can talk about it.
California is broke.
CalPERS cow has mastitis.
>CalPERS cow has mastitis.
If they’d only bet on the market going up under Trump they’d be rolling in cash.
California: getting their first taste of what fly over country got until we elected Trump.
Brown majority on investment committee.
Thinking outside the box is so retro.
