No one put a gun to Gen. Flynn’s head and made him prevaricate about his phone conversations with the Russian Ambassador...no one made him jump on a plane and fly to Moscow and attend a Russia Today gala either.

He may have been a loose cannon, and if he lied to Trump or his administration, he needed to go. However....
...you cannot allow the intelligence community to make and unmake the administration. Today it’s Flynn, tomorrow Trump. And with that, we have a “Praetorian Guard,” who makes and unmakes Presidents as they see fit. That includes the ones we like as well as the ones we don’t.
THIS is the real Constitutional crisis we face.
You misunderstand, Flynn did the deed but if eyes are on you or in this case ears are constantly on you, they can find something on you. Like someone secretly watches you the whole day and you’re going about your business but the instant you go and pick your nose...aha! They got you and run to tell someone else and then you start hemming and hawing when you find out someone was watching you all day...you’re caught off guard

What you say is correct. All this and more. Others point out that Flynn is a democrat and Trump should be glad to get rid of him.
But.
This is still a victory for Trump haters. The very fact that top inside sppoks can and did make a mountain out of a molehill and conspire to withold intel from the President and at the same time use their deceit and trickery to get Flynn fired is not just troubling but dangerous. What will they do next?

That is an excellent point. Anyone that works for the Trump Administration should assume that his enemies (and ours) are gunning for them. Trust no one - assume everyone is out to kil you. Sound Paranoid? You bet. You should be. From the movie “Dune”: Thufir Hawat: “Remember, the first step in avoiding a trap is knowing that one has been set.”
That lines up with what Spicer said at the presser, there was an erosion of trust and integrity.
