Nevertheless it is true. During his time, every secret we had was passed to the New York Times page one. We were tracking Bin Ladin’s sat phone... page one so he changed his means of communication. We were tracking his money flows, leaked, and he changed the way he moved money. Our safe houses and interrogation sites exposed. The airplanes moving prisoners exposed.
A big one was when they found the nerve agent factory during the invasion, the plant manager was a general, and within a couple of days we were told it was agricultural pesticide. Then several times more they found nerve agent stores at army ammo dumps and, again, after a few days we were told it was pesticide. I wondered then, who has the power to make WMD disappear redefining it out of existence, and what would be their motive?
Then the whole Niger/Wilson/Plame/Libby episode, which was in effect a coup attempt that almost worked.
You can go down the line and find other episodes where CIA was apparently on the other side... or at least, factions that exist within CIA and use CIA for cover.
The CIA has more spies and bugs in the White House than it does in the Kremlin.
Mar a Lago is probably much more secure than the White House. Good point.

I almost missed your reply. That would have been bad. But how do you replace so many so-called experts in such little time? It’s not like anybody’s resume says spy on it. there’s 20,000 people in the CIA. What do we do?
you know I don’t follow the news as I did before the election. I certainly know what’s going on and am up to date, but I see no point in getting myself upset and I have every faith in Trump to straighten things out but it’s going to take a while.
it’s like turning around a bad football team with a new coach. The guy is doing great. In two years this will be a different country. what I’m doing is not paying as close attention to the news because Trump will do what he needs to do and I’m not going to get myself sick. I did that already before the elections.
