I’m presently reading the biography of “Wild” Bill Donovan. The first Director of the OSS - an early version of the CIA.
Two takeaways: leaks were commonplace amongst the spy agencies for political power; and the spy agencies were loaded with New England Ivy League socialists and communists that worked against American interests.

Well Trump should not sign a budget that does not cut the ICs budget by say 10%. If there is one thing that all insiders in DC will fight over, it is money, and the finger pointing at who lost the 10% will tear the place apart.

This cannot go on for much longer. Obviously sooner or later Trump is going to find out who the leakers are.
I would say his approach has to be a bit more subtle. The leakers are merely firing a shot across his bow, but there is much more they can do. Using a kernel of truth, they could fabricate almost any crime to accuse the administration of. Trump needs to play a long game here.
One of my thoughts on this is the need to be careful not let this obscure the deeper issues; hopefully it can be worked instead to illumine those things that are being kept in darkness. Illumine, light up like a burning comet, the darkness over the high places.

Is war the only solution to a treasonous government? I am getting very concerned about all of this. Who can we trust in the Congressional or Judicial branches? We know for sure that the left wing bureaucracies are entrenched and cannot be trusted and the media, it would appear falls into that same category. Has drug addiction and sexual obsession, plus the hardened hearts which have killed millions of babies through abortion and the collection of most of the world’s wealth into only a few hands, resulted in this sad outcome so similar to Ancient Rome and others from the past? I know..Censoring of free speech, now through violence and political correctness which promotes propaganda are also to blame as well as watering down our citizens and our vote with immigrants. I ask myself every day if our nation is simply up for grabs to the most violent among us. Do we have the stomach to stand for our values under these circumstances? And the Russians? I do not believe for a minute that they are anything other than a diversion from something much worse which is going on, and I shudder to think what that might be.
