And yesterday, John Lewis declared that the Trump Admin will not be allowed to investigate itself. Do you remember how many times, in the beginning of the Obama Admin, that they investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing? The Blago Scandal comes to immediate mind. But back then, the Pubbies were on board with Obama, et al, investigating themselves.

Actually, in this case it is. Moreover, there clearances can be pulled immediately, as everyone holds his clearance from the President. That is, with permission of the ninth circuit [sarcasm].
IMHO, the intelligence community, whatever that is, is letting the president know who really runs the government. The are showing him that nothing he does or says, nothing anyone in his administration says or does, no private conversation with anyone is unmonitored. All will be leaked at a time of their choosing and to whomever will use it to damage the administration — right now that is the news media and the Democrats.
