Democrats demand that Flynn’s resignation spur broader Russia investigation
Democrats hold no levers of power in Washington, but they have pulled out their megaphones to demand that Mr. Flynn’s resignation open the first chapter — not the last — of investigations into contacts between Trump aides and Moscow — during and after Mr. Trump’s campaign for president.
“Nothing about this resignation, or resignations that could occur in the future, precludes the Senate Intelligence Committee from continuing to investigate Gen. Flynn, or any other campaign official who may have had inappropriate and improper contacts with Russian officials prior to the election,” said Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. “It is clear that our task is more urgent than ever.”

I understand, from a management perspective, why Trump would want Flynn to resign if Flynn lied in any way to Pence or Trump. I get that.
On the political side, the Left will never back down and will never compromise, and will never take a reasonable position. They will go in 100% against everyone on Trump’s team before, during and after their selection and before, during and after any hint of scandal. They will never let anything go.
Which is why, short of lying to the Boss, I think Trump should fully support everyone on his team and not give a damn what “the optics” are.

The left in America hates Putin because he supports Christianity and refuses to allow Muslims to immigrate to Russia. His position riles them because he has stated Russia is a Christian nation and will stay that way. A perfect model for Trump to follow. His position just drives the left crazy. Putin and Russia are no threat to the West. In fact they are just about the only allies we have left in the WOT.
I agree. This has just given them more fodder. The blood is in the water.
