Ratings don't work that way unless you're one of the Nielsen families with a set-top box that track usage... many Nielsen families still use the manual diaries to write down what they watch.
I say take the delay out and let Gaga say what she wants. She’ll embarrass herself and Middle America will be outraged. Fox will lose viewers, sponsors will lose dollars and the NFL will have given itself another black eye. The delay only protects the aforementioned entities.
5 second delay for live TV is pretty standard, isn’t it?
"Tape delay" is just a figure of speech... it's just as easy to delay digital broadcasting. Kind of like saying "Just dial 911...." when no one has phones with dials on them anymore.
Wonder if they will let her Trump hate be shown to the world? Of course they will let her say or do horrible things agaisnt Trump.

El Rushbo used to say it took a 7 second delay for him to hear an obscenity and then hit the “deedle button” to overbleep it on the air.

She has a great voice and puts on a great show. But she is into Spirit Cooking. And hates Trump. So I don’t want to watch.
