Waiting for confirmation the IRS won’t confiscate my refund this year since I make too much for free Obamacare and too little to afford $6000 for coverage formerly part of my pay package.

I love what Trump did, but you can see the trainwreck a’comin...

Anyone with an Obamacare-related issue with IRS should print off a copy of Trump’s EO and stapled it to their tax return and tell the IRS to follow the law.

Your job should be to avoid any tax refunds until this mess is sorted out. The IRS cannot force you to pay ACA penalties from sources other than refunds is my understanding.

FWIW, I know someone who received an IRS Obamacare related nastygram just last month. The letter was sent out a week before Trump’s inauguration telling the recipient to sign up by the end of last month or pay the penalty.

Anyone else get one of these?

Now I am confused because just helped my daughter with her taxes and the penalty was deducted from her refund.
