Shutting Down the Liberal Leech
American Thinker ^ | January 30, 2017 | Tom Trinko

Have you ever noticed how liberals always think that everyone else's money is theirs?

Liberal CEOs of companies like Starbucks aren't content with contributing some of their own massive salaries to the political causes they like; they have to use their shareholders' money, too.

The Starbucks CEO said that backing the redefinition of marriage to suit the whims of the 2% of Americans who are gay wasn't an economic decision. He admitted that even though it hurt the company, he'd decided that the morality he liked should be backed.

A responsible CEO wouldn't declare that people he disagree with about redefining marriage shouldn't buy Starbucks stock, because his job is to increase shareholder value. Further, a responsible CEO wouldn't throw the company he runs into the middle of a highly controversial moral issue because he knows that both the shareholders and the company's customers aren't of one mind on the issue.

Of course, by hurting his own company to help his causes, he earns accolades from liberals who aren't impacted if Starbucks loses money. As a result, when other liberals talk about how overpaid executives are, they don't talk about the ones who misuse their authority to advance liberal causes.

Imagine if a marriage backer had done something similar. Oh, wait – we don't need to. The CEO of Mozilla was forced to resign because he gave his own money, not the company's, to support a proposition defending marriage – a proposition that went to an overwhelming victory, garnering massive voter support.

I have a theory. I think Liberals live in a world of projection. They know they are greedy, so YOU need to give more. They Know they are racist, so YOU are racist. The psychology is twisted and tortured, but it is to address and excuse their failings in their guilt ridden minds. It really isn’t healthy, and I suspect Mike Savage is correct in labeling liberalism as a mental disease. There is more truth to it than first meets the eye.

Today’s liberalism, in the tax-and-spend, big-government, massive-debt, form has been a huge failure for America.

I rarely debate leftists anymore and just remind them over and over again, what they believe has been one big failure for America.

It’s true, it’s their tax-and-spend, big-government-for-all, irresponsible mentality that has led to the massive debt this country is in. Their savior, 0bama, is almost responsible for half of that. They truly have failed America big time.

That’s the only point I’m willing to point out to them, then I just ignore the rest of their nonsense. With their failed ideology, they don’t deserve a seat at the table of the arena of ideas.

That’s why I love posting at Free Republic these days. It totally ignores them and their failures and this place is the modern table of the arena of real ideas.

Today’s leftists need to be reminded over and over again on how their agenda failed America. Maybe it will eventually sink in and realize following the Constitution, as it was meant to be, is a better way.

“I suspect Mike Savage is correct in labeling liberalism as a mental disease.”

If you have any lingering doubt just try to imagine what George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Davey Crockett or Daniel Boone would think of today’s “liberals”. Of course the liberals say that none of those is relevant in the present time but they could find themselves in a situation where the skills of any of those men would be far more valuable for survival than anything they know. Yeah, I’m wandering around but liberalism is most definitely a mental disorder, the only people who don’t think so are the ones who are suffering from it. Think of anyone you might know whom you would want to have on your side if caught out in the wild without anything but a knife and an axe and if that person is a liberal I will be astounded.
