President Trump said on Friday that persecuted Syrian Christian refugees would receive priority when seeking asylum in the United States, telling the Christian Broadcasting Network in an interview that Christians in Syria have been treated unfairly in the refugee process.
Government workers can likely determine whether those seeking refugee status in the U.S. are lying about their religious affiliations, but falsehoods can still occasionally slip through the vetting process, immigration experts tell ABC News.
"They’ve been horribly treated. Do you know if you were a Christian in Syria, it was impossible, at least very tough, to get into the United States? If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair. So, we are going to help them," Trump said in a clip of the interview released Friday.
Trump did not give any examples or cite evidence to support his claim that it's more difficult for Christians in Syria to come into the country than Muslims in Syria.
But how can authorities tell whether someone is actually a Christian or not?
A refugee candidate's life is scrutinized during an extensive and thorough vetting process, according to multiple immigration experts.
In the past, refugee applicants were most likely asked about their religious affiliations only if they had applied for resettlement for reasons of religious persecution, said Denise Gilman, director of the Immigration Clinic at the University of Texas Law School.

a) “I don’t believe in him” - They’re atheist or agnostic
b) “He’s the Lord and Saviour/Son of God” - They’re Christian
c) “He was a good man/great teacher” - They’re New Ager/Buddhist/Unitarian/Gnostic, etc
d) “He was a heretic/blasphemer” - They’re Jewish
e) “He was a prophet” - They’re Muslim

Nothing is easier than checking if someone is Christian or not.

Obama did the same with refugees in 2011 and they said NOTHING. Carter did the same thing in 1979 and they said NOTHING.
NOW they are out and out LYING about what Obama did because they caught caught in another bit of politically bigoted manufactured hysteria.

As most people know, Muzzies can lie to further Islam, it’s called Taqiya.
Although, I think it would be hard for most Muslims to sign a notarized written statement that Jesus Christ is Lord. Baptismal certificates and other paperwork could easily be forged.
There probably is a consequence for lying to a customs officer although someone can always say that they converted to Islam after the fact.
That would keep Jews out too.

Have real Syrian or wherever they claim to be from Christians vet the applicant. They would probably know their own best.
A good quick test would be to have each applicant eat a slice of bacon as part of the vetting process.
Have a picture of the Charlie Abdo magazine cover with allah framed on the wall behind you.
Questions:
Was your father muslim?
Was your step father muslim?
Were you registered as a muslim as a madrass when you were young?
Do you always refer to the koran as the holy kor’awn?
Do you believe the call to prayer is beautiful?
Should the goal of NASA be ‘muslim ourtreach”?
There is no rocket science here.
Øbama could vet mudslimes, and eliminate Christians.
DHS can do exactly that now, except reverse the outcomes.
Ask the Catholic Caucus people on FR who think they can tell
who is and who isn’t from 1500 miles away through a keyboard.
Obviously they must be pretty good at it.
Just hold up a page of the Kran and flick a lighter. Draw the lighter and the flame together and watch their body language.
Do the same with a page from the Bible.
Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Non-Christians have a ‘’weight on their tongues’’. I don’t think they’d be able to do the scriptural test.
