The Church is the Eucharist, not the man offering Him.
Walking away, unwilling to suffer fools and wolves, is not a virtue when it comes to giving up the real presence. Rejecting the Eucharist over our offense of a silly man is the work of Satan and a mortal sin.

I don’t speak Latin. Very few Catholics under age 60 ever learned it

I'm a lot younger than 60, and attend Latin Mass nearly exclusively (pretty much only go to 'regular Mass' like I'd go to a protestant church, i.e., for weddings and funerals). If there's a Latin Mass convenient or semi-convenient to you, I seriously urge you to consider making the switch. There are multiple good reasons for this.
1. You'll get better priests. Priests celebrating Latin Mass these days are invariably conservative and smart. You won't hear any left-wing garbage during the sermon (which is in English, btw).
2. You'll meet a better class of Catholics. Latin Mass is like kryptonite for liberal Catholics. Pat Buchanan and Andrew Napolitano are at Latin Mass. Nancy Pelosi is at regular Mass.
3. You don't really need to know Latin. You never did. There's a missal for English translations, but after a while you won't really need it. Dominus vobiscum ("the Lord be with you")... Et cum spiritu tuo ("and with your spirit"). That's like 50% of it.
4. The music is better. No frustrated Dylan wannabes strumming acoustic guitars.
5. No 'sign of peace' handshake means less colds from the kid sneezing in his hand in front you.

Great advice. I did 20 years ago, and never looked back. Wish my Father would. I was told I couldn't say "Bad" things about the Pope in his home. So I just tell him the things the pope says, and does. He does not belive me. Secretly I believe he is opening his eye's. After all Dad. It's the Church you grew up in isn't it. ☺

While I lived and worked in D.C. that’s exactly what I did for years. Had access to three churches with vibrant Tridentine Mass communities. Now I live in far western Maryland, and the closest Latin Mass is in Pittsburgh 100 miles away. I never attend the Novus Ordo because in my opinion it’s sacrilegious.

LOL! No, not another Catholic denomination. The Tridentine Mass and communities of Catholics who worship at such Masses are the “remnant” of the pre-Vatican II Catholic Church which was suppressed by Vatican Council II Modernists and crypto-Protestants, such as belong to the Jesuit Order of which Francis is the unholy spawn.
