What indeed.
That certainly pushes me a few steps closer to the exits.
A WAY more serious issue than whether some divorcee takes Communion IMHO. This one will get people killed.

Don’t leave! Why should YOU leave? This pretender to the throne is 80 years old, and the faithful are onto him. Pope Francis WANTS people like us to leave. I’m not going ANYWHERE. I am staying put — and fighting.

Liberation theology, so called, was one of the main rewasons I left the Church in the early 70’s.

How can I, in good conscience, stay if he turns our Church into a bolt-on appendage of the Global Communist Party?

He is ready to make Rev. Wright a Cardinal?

Benedict XVI is still the true Pope, as his resignation was invalid per canon law.
With all due respect...
Canon Law ain't worth the parchment it's written on. He is ruling as Pope. He is setting the direction of the Church as Pope. Therefore he IS Pope. At least for all practical purposes.
You can make the argument that Obama was not native-born and hence was never really President. Did not stop him from wreaking havoc for eight years.
To: C19fan
This Pope is a disgrace to the church.
