of course it is, but “good” implies a relationship of mutual respect and advantage, which one can argue the the leaders of Mexico have not provided, and NAFTA precludes.

Is it important for Mexico to have good relations with the US. That sounds better.

No. It isn’t important. Mexico is a filth ridden gang infested corrupted country.

what has Mexico done for us. It is a two way street, and we seem to be getting the short hand of it.

Yes but it's important that Mexico can not dictate the conditions.

When Mexico stops looking at the western third of the country as their territory (there's a name for it but I can't remember it) maybe we can be friends.
The US and Canada are friends because neither country harbors any resentments or jealousy.
Mexico must acknowledge that their citizens have no right to be here and that California,Nevada,Arizona and Texas are *ours*,not *theirs*.When that happens we can be friends. Not before.

Mexico’s President is on very thin ice, facing actual revolution. Mexico is very dependent on US dollars and investment to survive. Doesn’t take a lot to cut off money transfers out of illegals back to Mexico, cut off oil money, etc.
