Shooter sent Facebook message to Breitbart’s Milo Yiannopoulos before gunfire at UW protest, police say
The man who told police he shot and wounded another man during a violent demonstration over the appearance of Milo Yiannopoulos at the University of Washington sent a social-media message to the Breitbart News editor just an hour before the shooting.
“Hey Milo,” the 29-year-old former UW student posted to Yiannopoulos’ Facebook page at 7:24 p.m. “im outside in line to your UW event.
“I got sucker punched (he was a bit limp wristed) and someone jacked my #MAGA hat,” he said, referring to the ubiquitous red and white “Make America Great Again” caps worn by supporters of President Trump.
“Anyway for me to get a replacement signed by you?” the man asked
Yiannopoulos did not respond, and the man went on to be caught up in a raucous confrontation between those trying to get inside the UW’s Kane Hall to see Yiannopoulos and protesters trying to keep them out.
Sometime just before 8:30 p.m., the man — who at this point was wearing a yellow hat — was involved in a scuffle with several people, and he allegedly shot and wounded the other man.
The man and his wife surrendered to UW police several hours later, claiming he fired in self-defense, according to law-enforcement officials. He was questioned and released. The Seattle Times is not naming the man because he has not been charged with a crime.
A law-enforcement source familiar with the UW police investigation said detectives obtained a search warrant for the man’s car and Sunday recovered a handgun from the trunk.
The man’s Facebook page indicates he is a supporter of Trump, Yiannopoulos and the National Rifle Association.

This is precisely why Democrats have zero leadership in our country. Liberals are bigots and always have been. They talk equality but don’t have any. I am glad that Milo is at Britbart so that the truth gets out. Liberals are BIGOTS!!! I think we as Conservatives need to shout that from the rooftops all the time.
Well, if he is a Trump and Milo supporter, belongs to the NRA, he must be guilty as hell! Ten to one he’s a global warming denier too! Lock him up!
How does the Seattle Times know the identity of the man not identified by police?
Trying to regain control of the narrative and pin it on the “alt-right.” How do they know his FaceBook page when he’s thus far unidentified, though? Just one of those minor details.
The man shot was widely reported to be a racist. He attacked an Asian man, so he was de facto racist by the MSM standard. What’s the problem, was he in fact an anti-Milo agitator?
That would make sense, but they’re going to have a tough time walking it back. Hence this smear.
I'm guessing the Seattle Times got their info from the police. Notice how the Seattle Times constructed the paragraph. The paper is not naming the individual because he hasn't been accused of a crime.

The Seattle Times implies that the shooter’s defense is that the ‘victim’ is a ‘racist’. Who but a SJW would use, “but he is a racist” as an excuse to shoot someone.

Okay this is scary ...the Shooter’s a leftist who shot another leftist that had swastika tattoo with a bar struck through it (the shooter just saw the swastika and so shot the “NAZI”)
I wondered why shooter had the gun there and was so primed to use it because the guy that was shot really did nothing ive heard of other then have a swastika tattoo ... the shooter was trigger happy

Most on the right when they carry are far more disciplined they do not overreact and randomly shoot and if force to shoot to shoot to kill... respect for the 2nt breeds discipline in it use

Shooter wasn't baiting Milo, he was there to SEE him and wanted him to autograph his hat which had been "jacked" off his head ... jacked means stolen ... usually by knocking it off by hitting the person in the head. He also said he was sucker punched. Reason enough there to defend himself and yet it seems he was disciplined enough not to shoot then. It was only after he was attacked with what might have been a substance which could have blinded him or others that he responded with force.
It seems to me that he responded to protect himself and others from bodily harm.
Ive read more then one account on this shooting and get conflicting reports
But let me ask you a simple question?... If this shooter was a right wing gun carrying Trump supporter and shot someone at a protest...
Would not the left and gun grabbing media be all over it?..it be on TV 24/7 ...crazy Trump supporter shoots demonstrator!
But its not. It fact it a near media blackout.. you just get little storys...
