This is the NFL's biggest event of the year. This is the one that makes Billion's for the league. If you really want to send a message to them that we do not want to have your politics mixed with our football,this is the game to do it. Boycotting games in October and November just won't get the point across. This is THE time to do it
I have read other suggestion to just boycott the half time show. That will never get the point across. They will still bet the multi billions in revenue because you would have tuned in the game and be counted as a viewer. The more viewers, the higher the revenue. Also, the more viewers the less likely they will curtail people like Colin Kaepernick from disrespecting the country. You know Lady Gaga or any other lefty from pop culture is going to lecture us on the evils of Donald Trump. The NFL will not disinvite her nor will they try to stop her. A message has to be sent to the NFL that we are consuming your product for entertainment and relaxation purposes. We are not going to sit through a lecture and have a guilt trip imposed on us. If they won't stop it, then we just won't buy your product anymore.
Very few ordinary folk get tickets. The tickets are distributed to corporate NFL sponsors, teams, etc.

So, when are we going to call for boycotts of Ford, Microsoft, Apple, et al, because they give far, FAR more money and legitimacy to liberal causes that are far more damaging to this country than some dipstick black power wannabe like Kapernick. And certainly more money than the NFL.
Just curious. We want to be consistent, right?

You also have to consider that New England busts the myth that white guys can’t play wide receiver. Hogan and Edelman were superb in the conference championship, with Amendola backing them up.
It’s a shame Gronk is on injured reserve, but, in fairness, Matellus Bennett has done a decent job filling in.
Still, the Patriots do more than any other team in the league to bust the myth of black athletic superiority.

I realize that. But if the NFL gets billions and does not feel the pressure, then we will get more of the same in years to come. BLM demonstrations will only ramp up if nothing is done.

Don't think so. The point is for football to be politics neutral. Nobody is calling for pro-Trump speeches to be made or for anti BLM messages to be sent. the boycott is not aimed at what they say off the field. It's aimed at what they do during the game.

Both Kraft and Brady have ties to Republican candidate Donald Trump; Brady famously had a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker during the 2015 season and referred to Trump as a friend in interviews late in the 2015 campaign. On the eve of Super Tuesday, Kraft joined Brady in the Trump camp when he spoke highly of his own friendship with Trump to the Boston Globe.
Although neither Brady nor Kraft officially endorsed Trump, their actions were met by a hefty dose of disapproval from a typically liberal-leaning Massachusetts fanbase.

PS: This super Bowl is being held 1.5 miles from my house. I make a personal plea to boycott this event, so my kids can get to school.
I’ve boycotted this year, save two games, and really considering the Super Bowl. Chances are, I’ll view portions of the game, but not sit down, or go to a bar or party, for the game. Fug ‘em all!
