President Obama rushed to fill nearly 100 federal government vacancies during a frenzy of appointments in his final few weeks in office.
Since the new year, Obama has named 72 people to federal job openings and nominated another 17 for positions requiring Senate confirmation, according to CBS reporter Mark Knoller.

Appointments at the pleasure of the President can be revoked.
EVERY agency is going to need a thorough housecleaning and fumigation to rid the government of all the communists that the usurper has embedded in our government.
Barring termination at the end of the probation period, the next acceptable alternative is to reassign and completely ISOLATE them out of the way where they can cause damage.
He can say:
YOU'RE FIRED!!!
Don’t unpack your boxes. You’ll be out of there on Monday.
This people can be ‘windowed’. Given a job with a desk and a window, and no access to systems other than HR. At the same time they are required to attend a 5 minute review, F2F meeting each day at 0830 and 1630.
I have seen it done.
Why is there a “United States Holocaust Memorial Council” anyway?
The poor pRres_ _ent.
Still no birth certificate,
and so many felons, rapists, and terrorists
to help in 3 days.
Wow, minimal to no internet, two face to face meetings each day for accountability.
Sounds like an opportunity for improvement. An effective manager can either cause this person to become productive or drive them out of the office. If they fail to produce, grounds for demotion/termination.
I saw a person like this in a plum assignment that asked for outside training opportunities. Upon returning, the boss asked her for a written report of the training.
The boss followed up with a visit to the trainer who remembered the troublesome employee out of the many attendees for their attitude and failure to return to class after the lunch break.
Termination for false statements came a short time later.
All these last minute moves by Obama are designed to delay Republicans the opportunity to enact their agenda. If positive change happens from policy changes by 2018 Dems know they are screwed.
The positions requiring Senate confirmation were likely sent NOW to try to delay Trump’s incoming people getting confirmed.
Wouldn’t they immediately have to submit a letter of resignation to the incoming president? Sounds like he’s helping some friends pad their resumes.
First thing you do is fire anyone hired or appointed by Obama.
You will see who government employees work for by their donations. The Government Barnyard needs cleaning up first.
Somehow, the writer did not feel it would be useful information to see the last-minute appointment records of the last several Presidents. Without this data, one can make the argument that they all did this.
Although I seriously doubt it.
