Sorry, Clay, but police don’t press charges, they only make arrests. Prosecutors press charges, which, in this case, will mean convincing Trump’s incoming attorney general. Perhaps if Representative Clay had stayed awake in civics class she would already know that.
I understood from the thread about this last week that it’s hanging in one of the “shuttle” areas so how many members of the public are even seeing it? Hunter said Clay is a good friend of his and he was free to put it up but Hunter was free to take it down. Guess Clay had second thoughts or more likely got a lot of heat for letting it be removed!
Everything these mental midgets touch is turned to ugly. We cannot have beauty in the public square anymore without it being raped or graffitied with ugly untalented trash and what is really an extension of violent threats against civil society.
There is no talent or skill or art in this “painting”. It has nothing but crude attempts at elementary “art” by a depraved and stupid mindset.
It is ugly. And it is an attack on civil society that is advocating attacks on the police and an attempt to riot in our very halls of the Capitol. It is also a threat of violence against society.
This ugly “painting” is as ugly as the twisted ugly face and soul of this crude mental midget called a “public ofcicial” and exposes the backward culture and crude stupid mindset of those who would vote for this impish moronic turd.
Once we could have beauty in the public square. Now feral imps like this “politician” along with his “constituency” have to turn everything into ugly and crude toilet that is a reflection of their own lack of any intellect.
This “public official” belongs in a zoo not in the Capitol. We want beauty, not the fedal ugliness of such backward savages. There is NO FREE SPEECH from these imps, they want to threaten and loot and bully others and would surely turn us into the typical turd world African despotism where there is no free speech at all and where babies are used as door stops and all of America is as dangerous as Mogadishu or Chicago.

One thing is for sure, again today the Democratic Party is on full display and why the Democrats will face even more historic losses because America has no interest in living in their ugly toilet, have had enough of crime, and will not be suppressed by backward savages. This garbage can take their “art” and their dirty underwear abd get in a U-hall and move to Somalia and choke on their own excretions for all I care. In one way, it is almost comic relief to watch the Democrats implode right before our eyes. By the time the Senate Judiciary Hearings on Capitol Hill are done, Americans will be even more disgusted by the Democratic Party than even now, they will be seen as clearly the Party of cop haters, cop killers, looters and savages, the Party of surrogates to the Nation of Islam, the Party of criminals and violent crime, Trump will gain point after point, Democrats will lose 20 or more seats in short order.
The people in the Congressional Black Caucus hate this country.

Wonder how the Communist Black Caucus would like it if a picture depicting Blacks as monkeys or a picture of the confederate flag were hung in that gallery. That would be free speech as well. I’m guessing they would claim racism. Democrats, including Black Democrats have destroyed the decorum of the Congressional bodies.

A modern definition of art is something created that no one really wants to buy, so it has to be taxpayer subsidized to survive.
No. It is tradition that the winners of the Congressional Art Award hang in the underground tunnel that goes between the capital building and the congressional offices. Each year they are switched out for new winners. Two winners are chosen from each state. It's a great way to display talented high school student's work. In 1991, one of my daughter's water colors was chosen. Besides the honor of her painting hanging there for a year, she also got a plane ticket to DC to attend the awards ceremony.

For some reason this is reminding me of when Bush’s first attorney general John Ashcroft covered naked marble statuary in the hall near his office with sheets, and held Christian prayer meetings with his staff in his office in the mornings; he was soon removed from office by the Democrats.
