PHILADELPHIA (CNN) — President-elect Donald Trump is continuing to resist conclusions reached by US intelligence agencies on Russian involvement in the 2016 election, and on Saturday defended his long-held belief that closer ties with Russia would be good for the US.
Trump’s comments come one day after he received intelligence stating that the Russian government hacked Democratic Party groups and individuals during the election, and that Moscow acted to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign to benefit Trump.
“Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only ‘stupid’ people, or fools, would think that it is bad, We have enough problems around the world without yet another one.

Trump’s foreign policy should include encirclement of China featuring a new generation of USA allies—Russia, India, Philippines, and Vietnam—along with traditional allies Japan, Taiwan (but make it official) & Korea.
It was “nobel worthy” when Obama/Clinton wanted to use the RESET button.
Some wisdom I read elsewhere posited that the neocons and globalists decided a new cold war would be more profitable than the war on terror. Or perhaps Russia is a threat to the war on terror and whatever aims the globalists are using it for, due to their efficacy in fighting it.
Would rather deal with Russia than China!
Of course warm ties with Russia are good. However, unlike most of you people on here I think Trump knows the real game. Like most “Real” Conservatives we know what Russia is really up to. I think he’s going to show Russia what’s up with a new cold war. We are going to bankrupt them again. Say bye bye Russia.
It would be great if we could get Putty Put to stop being destructive.
