President-elect Donald Trump will continue his use of Twitter after he officially enters the White House later this month, according to incoming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
“You know that he can drive a message and influence people in a way that hasn’t been done before,” Spicer stated while speaking at an event at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics on Wednesday.
Spicer explained that he does not get a memo when Trump is tweeting, but that the President-elect is a strategic thinker, adding, “He thinks about where things are going to end up.”
Trump, who has used Twitter during his campaign, has posted tweets during the middle of the night and often drives daily news coverage through his use of Twitter.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Spicer explained that the Trump administration will evaluate new methods of communication in addition to Trump’s use of Twitter.

If I were Twitter, I’d love this. Twitter was suffering before Trump started using it. He’s not the only politician who might want to say things on Twitter and get around the news organs.
It’s a good way to limit how dishonest they get. Whatever the spin, they can’t deny the initial tweet.
