Trump says China 'won't help' with North Korea
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump criticized China on Monday, saying it had benefited from its economic ties with the United States but would not help control North Korea.

Well I would imagine PE Trump will be fixing that soon. In MHO we just just wipe North Korea off the face of the earth. Mean, nasty and too much trouble

I hope Trump gets tough with China. China would be as destitute as North Korea if not for exports to the US.

The problem with nuking NK is the risk to our troops in SK.
All good in theory. I just don’t know, given how much of this country has been sold to the Chinese, whether this would be effective.
North Korea is, after all, China’s bastard child.
China may dislike Kim, and Kim may even secretly fear and hate China - but China won’t abandon them, because it means they will lose their puppet buffer state against the USA and Japan.
We shouldn’t have troops in SK. NK is threatening us and we should treat the threat seriously. If SK wants to step up fine, otherwise we go it alone or ask the Japanese of they want to join the dance. NK is also collaborating with Iran on their program.
We should have taken Iran’s word when Akmenstruationajab was president that they would destroy Israel and US and wiped out their program or teamed up with Israel to do it. The Iranian’s are religious fanatics who think they had a moral responsibility to bring about an end to the world. ISIS believes the same thing. The more we let these fanatics build weapons the harder it will be to stop them later.
Is it better to stop NK before they have a working bomb and missiles or after. Same question for Iran. It’s a dangerous world and we’re pusstyfooting around in it.

The Chicoms have been in bed with the Norks for half a century. Hard to see any US POTUS changing that. The Chinese can just turtle up and wait out 8 years of Trump.
Yes, Trump makes a call to China, China makes a call to NK and tells them to cut it out. NK cuts it out.
Why should all North Koreans suffer for the sake of that tinpot?
The Chinese would be granted/tasked with Taiwan & NK, Russia with Ukraine & Iran, and the US with Cuba & Saudi Arabia. Taiwan would be rolled back into China, but they would have to dismantle NK. Same with Russia - their responsibility would be to eliminate the mullahs.
For the USA, not only would be be granted free reign to bring Cuba up to western standards (the capital investment opportunities would be astronomical), but we'd have to force the KSA to abandon financing jihad.
In a tri-polar world of this nature, global tensions would be greatly relieved. Just eliminating the 3 most dangerous terrorist states would usher in a new period of peace.
The way the system is constructed today, it's as if regional conflict points and hair triggers were purposely designed in by the globalists.

That’s where Trump might have more leverage. Russia says to Kim, we will spirit you and your minions out to a luxury Russian resort, if you will let North Korea go (to be picked up by South Korea). That way, you can let go of the tiger you have by the tail, without it turning on you.
He can always tell the Chicoms that if they don’t help with the Norks, our good friends in ROC are anxious to do so.
Actually if Truman would have let MacArthur do his fricking job, there would be no North Korea or Communist China.
