2016 was a great year for most of us – but just because we’ve gained the beachhead doesn’t mean we’re going to win the war. With Brexit and Donald Trump, we’ve done the equivalent of capturing everywhere from Pointe Du Hoc to Pegasus Bridge. But just like with D-Day, the worst of the fighting is yet to come. Our enemy is fanatical, determined, well organised. Plus, they still hold most of the key positions: the big banks, the corporations, the top law firms, the civil service, local government, the universities, the schools, the mainstream media, Hollywood… Give those bastards half the chance and they’ll drive us back into the sea – which, in contemporary terms, means nixing Brexit (or giving us “soft Brexit”, which is basically the same thing) and frustrating all the things President Trump will try to do to Make America Great Again.
I use the war analogy first because World War II analogies never fail, but second because this really is a war that we’re fighting. The bad news is that wars are hard, costly and ugly. The good news is that we’re on the right side and we’re going to win. Here’s how:
We will never underestimate the wickedness of the enemy
The liberal-left loves to portray us as the bad guys. But that’s just projection. From Mao’s China to Stalin’s Soviet Union, from Cuba to North Korea, history is littered with the wreckage of failed left wing schemes to make the world a better, fairer place.
As the great, now sadly-retired Thomas Sowell says, “Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it.”

These rules are more noble yet badass than The Rules for Radicals. Well worth studying and implementing.
And what’s even better, they don’t even try to serve as counterpoints to each of The Rules for Radicals. Instead, they are standalone rules that we should have been doing all along.
My only quibble with the article is that it neglects to mention that Trump epitomizes, embodies, and carries out these rules. Trump serves as the greatest example for these rules.
Ome final thing: In the article, there’s a link to a Vox Day chapter in pdf format about other ways to fight this battle. It looks like something worth studying, too.
I could be wrong, but I think the ground has shifted, and there’s a certain degree of inevitability to everything that’s about to happen. Trump and the GOP in general need to solidify the flip of the white working class/Rust Belt to the red column, but given that the Democrats have done everything in their power to antagonize those people, it shouldn’t be difficult. And so long as those states stay red, and assuming that Trump can deal with illegal immigration/voter fraud enough to keep the Sun Belt red, then all of the caterwauling in the world across the media, academia, the corporate suites, etc., along the coasts ain’t gonna change a thing. It will all be a tempest in a teapot as Trump and his band of industrialists remake the world economy in favor of America and Americans . . . again.

Turn their charges back on them
Why so angry? I thought we were having an intellectual discussion. Is that an impossibility for you to have?
Are you a racist? Is that why you think blacks are incapable?
Always smile at them as they scream at you, it drives them crazy.
Ask them questions?
What is your favorite socialist country and why is it?
Did you live there for any extended period of time?
Then you have no real experience living there?
Do you always rely on second hand information, never investigating and thinking for yourself?
Never back down, keep attacking, but always in a non threatening way with a smile on your face.
