A higher minimum wage, a ban on using "Redskins" as the name of a school team or mascot, and new restrictions on assault weapons are among the latest California laws taking effect with the new year:

And the beat(down) goes on in calibfornia. And, spreading to other locations. Since the fine folks in Vegas pushed the intergalactic background check to a win to become effective on 1/1/2017, the upcoming legislative session could put Nevada firearms owners rights toward further infringement. Since the upcoming session is controlled by the dementocrats in the senate and assembly, a push for banning 10+ round magazines will be brought up. What next? Bullet button? Then "Turn 'em in Mr. and Mrs. Nevada". Maybe we should allow calibfornia to annex vegas. The rest of the state would be better off for it.

California just surrendering more of their freedom to the politicians. It’s what they do.

CA and others have clearly gone off the deep end, but the feds have never helped by not defining the word “infringe.”

I think their daffynition means there’s no limit to infringing. That’s how the “think”.

Title should be:

“California outlaws jobs worth less than $10.50/hour.”

Infringe is anything that would stop me going down to the corner market and buying a pistol, rifle, or various other arms.

If anything stops me such as a background check, threat of prison if ex-felon, or reporting my name or any information of my person to any agency is infringement. Pure and simple.

Yeah know MOST if Not ALL of California Gun Control and Environmental Laws could be slapped down and INVALIDATED tomorrow by Congress as an Interference with INTERSTATE COMMERCE.

Why are FReepers upset about this? This is the beauty of Federalism. I could care less if CA bans guns or have a $100 minimum wage.

Because, every time The People's Sewer of Kalifornia passes their idiotic laws, refugees flood into civilized states. And it's a well known fact these refugees carry their sickness with them. That's what destroyed Oregon, Washington, Colorado, as well as numerous other cities.

I want that dump to be a well reasoned haven so that they stay put.

If you listen carefully these days you can hear the splashing sounds of thousand of +10 round magazines as they are lost overboard on the lakes. Funny the way that works.

First they invent the bullet button. And there were workarounds (too many to list)

Then they ban the bullet button. And then there were workarounds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fdV96d91LI)

Then we register all semi automatic long guns

Now that there is a supermajority in the state legislature there is already talk of banning all semi automatic long guns (since there is a nice database from the registration).

The other noise one can hear if listening carefully is the massive number of package delivery trucks bringing in ammo ahead of the “background check to buy ammo” law. There are sites advertising specials for bulk purchases to California residents.

But on the good news side, marijuana will soon be legal, sanctuary cities are all the rage, and tax dollars are now being diverted for the legal defense of illegal aliens.

If it weren’t for my job I would be out of here. In the mean time I am, for the record, 100% CA compliant with my magazines, weapons, and ammo.

They’re working on NV. But, we too have passed rec MJ starting in 7 days. Bad enough with the DUIers. Now we’ll have folks on the interstate going 20 MPH thinking they’re going a 110 mph.

Hasn’t CA seceded yet? Or at least the Left Coast? They should do that, first, then they can ban anything they want, and force people to do unspeakable things. Then, we can invade them, hang the leaders, and convert the people to Christianity. We’ll take them back as a protectorate, with the understanding that if they try to make even one law against God, Nature or man, we’ll roll tanks.

***Then we register all semi automatic long guns***

And to think, back in 1982 California tried to get voters to pass Prop 15 to register and ban new handguns in California. “Long guns would not be affected” they said.
Prop 15 was rejected by the voters so the politicians have been working around it by banning little things like magazine capacity and other things one step at a time.
Now they have finally gone after the “long guns that would not be affected” they said. They lied.

I remember back when Kalifornia was part of these united states. Been a while now though; probably 20 years or so.

Well, since they are going to act like a 3rd world country I guess we should be taking their national votes away from them, probably past time for that. Probably should make them get passports and permission to enter free states; such as it is and all.

I feel bad for the good conservatives/Freepers on that side of the enemy lines. I figure the only way to fix it now is to break it up into 5 or more different states and remove every single illegal living there; by force if necessary. The time for playing nice is over with.

I remember stopping by a bar in San Diego, oh, 15 years ago and the subject of politics came up. One guy said the United States Constitution should be rewritten every year and most people sitting around the bar at the time agreed with him. It was then I knew Cali was a gonner. You just can’t fix people like that; they are too far gone.

If we could break off 30 miles of the coast of CA, Portland, and Seattle then drag it 500 miles off the coast we could let it secede but as it is there's just no way we can allow such valuable land and ports to secede. There may be something we can do with all the liberal fascists once we defund everything near and dear to them though. Re-education camps maybe or some kind of cure could be found for their mental disease or possibly a form of lobotomy light that leaves them still functional but unable to form thoughts of hate and divisiveness like they do now.

Oregon and Washington were already liberal hellholes, just in the yuppie way not the criminal/gang-banging way.

Yes ,They Lied.

Frankly , I am Shocked,Dismayed and
Very disappointed.
Like I have just gotten off the
Cattle cars and now I am being directed
To the Showers.
Schindler’s List would cheer me up,perhaps.
Alone,
In the Dark,
and it’s Raining.
