He was ripping off his customers on top of being a total douche. Wholesale propane is 63 cents right now per gallon, in bulk. Our market on the west coast has home delivery running at $1.40 per gallon.

$110 per bottle? A lot of locals in Maine that use propane for household heat use the big 200lb. bottles/tanks. Based on the $110 price tag, I'll guess that must be his going price for a mobile refill of an 200 pounder.
