What concerns me is that a study was done that took a data set full of nearly 400 Islamic terrorists and rebranded them as White Americans, and then was linked to various news outlets with pictures of Neo-Nazis and Confederate flags on them, so that millions of people see it and think “New American study shows Neo-Nazis kill more people than Muslims.”

Okay, folks, I may have made a mistake. I think now that the publications who used this study (PRI, NBC, Independent) were not trying to say that the Jihadis are White Americans. The study IS saying they are Americans. But I think these other publications took the graph on the end of the study, something tacked on to show "perspective" about terrorism, and concluded that it was the result of the study.

The graph on the end compares the 10 successful terrorist attacks (out of 396 Jihadis, many of whom were cells apparently arrested before they could act) to a set of white crimes cobbled together under some sort of White Violence subset. It includes botched robberies, a domestic, an in-group killing, cop ambushes (but not BLM, that's separate) and some genuine white/right hate crimes (churches, synagogues, clinics, hate crimes).

It's not the result of the study, it's just a summarizing remark that American born Jihadis aren't the only bad guys out there, but PRI et al took this graph as the point of the study. It's still a misrepresentation of the study, but it's not the sort of misrepresentation I thought they were doing. I am sorry.

When you talk about pri and nbc,these are the elite liberals in the media. The will do anything to promote socialism,massive immigration, any concept that liberal orgs promote these drivebys will adopt. There is no fair and balanced approach within the driveby media and these are card carrying drivers.
