Let's hop in the way-back machine for a minute, shall we? We don't need to go far just a few months back to be exact.
It was a different time. Hairstyles were different. Fashion was different. Kids were listening to a different type of music their parents couldnt understand. It was a crazy time. It also was a time marked by the Democratic Party insisting that what made this country great was the "peaceful transition of power."
Like I said, it was a different time.
It was Oct. 19 when Donald Trump would not give in to Chris Wallace, the moderator of the final presidential debate, on the question of whether he would accept the results of the election. In the few remaining weeks of the campaign, that became one of the most talked about moments of the entire years-long ordeal. Little did we know that moment would come into play more than a month after all the votes were counted.
Hillary Clinton wasnt asked the question herself, but she never stopped feigning outrage from that moment forward at the concept. Not to the concept of her team committing the very offense which so horrified her, but to the idea there was any circumstance under which the oafish Trump would not bow down and admit her superiority to the world.
Of course, it was Hillary who, on election night, refused to concede to the clear victor. Few could blame her for needing a couple of hours to soak in the fact that shed duffed a tap-in putt on the 18th hole in The Masters and would not be sliding into the Green Jacket. When your dream slips away for a second and final time, its understandable composure would elude you.
Pulling herself together, she did admit defeat the next morning, but she and her team dont seem to have accepted it.
In the ensuing weeks there has been nary a Clinton campaign veteran who hasnt made a grousing public statement or bitter, unfounded accusation about how a rigged election denied the queen her throne.
FBI Director James Comeys two letters cost her votes; sexism denied Clinton the White House; the Russians interfered with the election. You name, theyve blamed it.
In all those accusations was an undercurrent of not only denying Donald Trump won but denying his coming presidency its legitimacy. Rooted in all of it, especially the Russian hacking story, is a hint of the idea that were it not for nefarious forces, Hillary would be president.
The FBI and sexism charges held no water, one having been of her own doing and the other overplayed by her campaign. So those unwilling to accept the constitutional order of things hung their hats on Russia.
The bitter grumblings were just that, grumblings of losers. But when those grumblings came from the mouth of the CIA director, another level was achieved.
Director John Brennan, who ironically voted for the Communist Party candidate for president in 1980, was now pointing an official finger at the Kremlin for interfering with the election.
From there, the White House press secretary reiterated the allegation. Suddenly, the outgoing president, whod lectured Trump on the importance of respecting the outcomes of elections and how the peaceful transition of power is what separates us from the despotic regimes of the world, became that which he decried only weeks earlier.
A concerted effort has been launched to convince, coerce and otherwise intimidate Republican electors in the Electoral College to vote for anyone other than Donald Trump. In other words, nearly the entirety of the Democratic Party is not only refusing to accept the results of the election, its actively trying to overturn it.
The ultimate impact of the 2016 election should be to fully and completely expose just how hypocritical, unhinged and, frankly, dangerous progressives can be when theyre about to lose the last finger of their grip on power.
Just below the surface of every Barack Obama lies a Keith Olbermann. Perhaps not as unstable, but every bit as angry.
Let them throw their tantrum. This attempted bloodless coup will fail, and power will be transferred. But never forget. The next four years undoubtedly will be a constant reminder. Wear your seatbelt.
After President Trump is in office we will look back on these silly escapades of the desparate left with great glee and schadenfreude!
If only the presidency was the “...last finger of their grip on power.”
They still control the public education system, and the overwhelming majority of what is laughingly referred to as “institutions of higher learning.” Unfortunately, they have also wormed their way into control of most churches, and have a whole host of organizations actively consolidating their control over almost every facet of our lives. They are like termites busily gnawing away at the woodwork of civilization.
DHIMMYRATS ARE FAKE from the top to the bottom !
NEVER TRUST THEM and specially their soft words !
Specially hussein obama is a snake who TRIED to influence that last election and the electoral process along with the CROOCKED MSM !

They know that it will take 16 years for the next peaceful one.
Of course the election was rigged.
Despite that, Trump still won. Thank God. Now it’s time to drain the swamp and restore election integrity. Start with California.
I wish that I could say that you are correct, but from what I see, the battle has only begun. Each day will be a dogfight with those on the Left. They will have to be dragged out one cave at a time. As long as the present media remains intact, as long as we continue to keep the higher education system we now have, the Left will continue to have a steady stream of recruits to throw into the war. We are in a war, not a battle. We won one fight. They have retreated, licked their wounds and are regrouping for the next fight. We are fighting evil and evil never rests, never quits, or never takes a holiday.
Exactly
Ah yes, those heady days when we all had to pledge to accept the results of the election. Good times.
Indeed. It's no wonder that they've become so unhinged as their carefully crafted plans failed to yield their ultimate victory. Trump should make it his number one priority to dismantle their special interest coalition as best he can. Thankfully, they failed to complete their decimation of the military.
The ‘Dean scream’ works here. :)
Hillary - When your dream slips away for a second and final time, its understandable composure would elude you.

the same thing happens when one is drunk on one’s ass too.

They are already screaming “Impeachment”. It’s not going to get better but worse.

Well and truly said. And if these Marxist-inspired, anti-American leftists are not soon neutralized while there’s still a slight chance of doing so, this Constitutional Republic is going to disintegrate into an oppressive socialist tyranny. Sadly, it may already be too late, even though Trump’s election has afforded us a small glimmer of hope.
Felonies are not 'MISTAKES'. Treason is punishable by death. There are consequences to breaking the law and anyone who did should be hunted down and dealt a severe punishment.
News media that have chosen sides should lose licenses, PBS should be defunded.
The left must be declawed.
Their new argument is that Trump will be committing treason by taking office.
