On Monday, members of the Electoral College will gather in each state to select a president. We call on them, particularly Republican electors, to deny Donald Trump the presidency — as the Constitution allows and as the Founding Fathers envisioned for a candidate so antithetical to their aspirations for the nation's highest office.

In our Electoral College system, the amount of popular votes gained is moot. The amount of ELECTORAL votes garnered is what decides the election. But, I am sure that you elitists on the TU Editorial Board already knew that. Judging by many of your editorials during the course of this campaign and election season, you folks seemingly know EVERYTHING that there is to know about just about EVERY subject.

Calling for the Electoral College to not follow the will of the people and cast their votes for their state's chosen candidate is akin to a pro football team asking for a loss to be overturned because even though they were outscored, they gained more yards from scrimmage than the winning team.

The aftermath of this election, and the manner in which many HRC supporters and anti-Trump people reacted and carried on is nothing short of shameful and disgraceful, and that same reaction and mindset is still carrying on even today.

As a subscriber to your "newspaper", I was inclined to stop my subscription back when you so ardently supported HRC for the Presidency. With your latest vitriolic diatribe spewed forth on your editorial page, I have decided that I will indeed, effective as soon as one of your customer service representatives answers my call, end my subscription to this once terrific publication.

Perhaps, over the course of the next 4 years under President Trump, you all-knowing, left-leaning elitists on the TU Editorial Board can find a way to make the TU great again. In it's current form, this paper isn't worth housebreaking a puppy on.

I’m getting sick of all this crap. Electors are NOT normal off the street people - they are hand picked by the political party of the winner of that state. There might be one or two idiots but certainly Trump will win the election. Now every body rest easy.
