Several wonderful THANK YOU rallies have been held and Nikos1121 has been a trooper to again keep the rally threads posted. There will be some overlap with the two threads but we will keep these going for the NON RALLY DAYS..
As Seahawks fans, even we were shocked at the florescent green, but it was cool!

It is a little shocking, isn’t it. I personally like the original uniforms, which were more a royal blue (when Largent and Krieg, et al played). Guess they’re just trying to keep up with what’s “in”. Plus, let’s face it, if they keep wearing these, then there will be jerseys, etc. in this color and they’ll sell more products. I’m keeping my old T-shirts and sweatshirts for now, along with my Super Bowl XLVIII Champions hat. People around here wear Seahawks gear all the time, especially the day of or the Friday before a Sunday game - see them in the grocery and other stores all the time.

I dated a guy from England some years ago. I had to learn some of their “language”. A few examples:
I’ll ring you up - I’ll call you
You have a ladder in your tights - What??? I had a run in my hose.
And the one that got me initially when we first started dating:
Him:Are you going to be home tomorrow?
Me: Yes.
Him: Maybe I’ll come ‘round and knock you up.
Me: What? I don’t think so!
Him: I can’t come visit?
I didn’t realize he just meant he’d come knock on the door and visit or take me out - LOL! funny after I figured out what he meant!
I like the uniforms..... these are real men and don’t have to worry about questionable image. Most uniforms are too dowdy.

I am working sampling job again today again. Did wine yesterday (30-60/bottle Cabs yesterday and 2 chardonnays and a cab in 35$/bottle range)

For those that missed it, I thought this article was a very good summary of what Trump has accomplished so far and not even Prez yet. It was written by Sid Miller, Texas Agriculture Commissioner. He was the one that was on one or more of the FNC and/or FBC programs that had on a cowboy hat that Trump loved. Trump and his sons each bought specially made hat from the company in Texas that made Sid’s. There was a picture on one of our threads of Trump’s hat and it was a real beauty. Adding our TF members from Texas as they may be interested in what their Ag Commish had to say.

Glad you enjoyed it! While we both spoke “English”, there was definitely a bit of a learning curve with us - UK v.s. American English. I’m sure it’s difficult with people not born and raised here with all the slang language we have.
You are not kidding! When I think of what could have happened...corrupt Hillary as POTUS, it gives me shudders. Now we shall see how much cooperation comes forward from the establishment republicans in congress, especially Speaker Paul Ryan.
I shudder, too thinking of what could have happened - Hill & Bill again - YIKEs!
I tend to think (hope) with the staff Trump is putting in place and his “Art of the Deal” negotiating skills, Ryan and the other RINOs will get in line or get run over. Too bad Ryan didn’t get on board the Trump Train earlier - he seems to be on it now and has stated that he and Trump agree on a lot of things, so we’ll see. There are at least some conservatives in Congress that I think will help. I don’t think tax breaks will be a big hurdle, but immigration reform (amnesty) may be. They agree on ousting criminal aliens and seem to agree on border security and enforcing current laws, however, what happens next with the millions that are here remains to be seen. I think if they get the criminals out, the wall built, enforce current laws, support ICE and Border Patrol as well as e-verify, those will be huge steps from what we have now.

I’ve been dealing with one of those toxic people, and have just about had my fill.
This person says, “I try to see God in everyone, love everyone, blah, blah, blah.”
But their actions, negativity, and criticisms of everything and everyone don’t match their words.

'They' say things happen in threes, well.... when the Cubs won their first championship in such a long time (I've been rooting for them since I can remember...and Donald Trump won the 2016 POTUS election, that left only one thing...Army beat Navy...WoW!...those three things should tell us that something good is here and happening.
Just getting settled in. Interstate closed north of Indy. Sure glad we were heading south. Just lots of fog and then heavy rain. Ice is headed here at home soon. Pastor just called. Probably no church in morning. Now to get warm and catch up on the rally
