It will change nothing in MI.
It will get done in time for the electors to vote and if not, they’ll get safe harbor.

Sure. Sounds good to me. People are going to be in for a surprise when Detroit’s votes only get counted once this time, instead of repeatedly fed into the voting machines.

Local Detroit radio news has been reporting all day that over 600 of the over 1,300 precincts in Detroit will not be recounted because there are irregularities with the ballot bags. Either the seal number does not match the number recorded on election night or the number of ballots in the bag does not match the recorded number of voters who voted at that precinct on election night.
Michigan state election law says that any ballot bag that has irregularities can not be included in a recount. The recorded vote total on election night stands. The Detroit City Clerk said that this is an antiquated law and all bags should be included. She also said that Detroit's 10 year old voting machines were worn out and should all be replaced. Maybe she's hoping for some of them there fancy touch screen machines.
She also said that there was no chance that there was any fraud in Detroit.
