I’m with you. Petraeus might have redeemed himself,if, after Benghazi, knowing the truth in his position as CIA Director, he resigned in protest at the lies. Instead, he went along with the lie of Hillary and Obama. And (karma’s a beeotch) still got fired anyhow.
As a retired Army guy, the general officer corps of the last few years, from, say, Wesley Clark till now, has been a disgrace to the uniform.

Because it would be a PROBATION OFFICER not a PAROLE OFFICER!!!!! Seems “journalists” can’t get even the basics correct. Probation is given in lieu of incarceration when the offense is minor. Parole is granted when the offense is severe and requires at least some prison time be served. Totally different. In the case of Patreaus there was great reluctance to even bring charges as it was doubtful he actually committed an offense.

Hey LEE-UM, ya see, He already has been made a Partner at a Huge Investment Firm and Works on the B.O.D.'s +/ or Teaches at several Colleges, Even The University of Exeter in Britain (Shock + Horror, eh LEE-UM? It’s real simple, we hold ours accountable. He broke the law period. Not just you Johnny come lately trumped up charge either but classified information. He should not be allowed to carry any clearance whatsoever period end of story.

Petraeus did break the law.
He admitted his action, plead guilty and was sentenced.
But what he did was nothing in comparison to what Clinton did as Secretary of State.
To pretend they are equivalent is dishonest.
Agree one is definitely severe to the extreme and hopefully her day is coming. Patreus shouldn’t even be in the running or remotely considered it’s just bad imaging all the way around. There are many more qualified without being indicted :-) that includes the unindicted felons too

That’s not my issue with him. My issue is that it’s hard to make a case that Clinton needs to be prosecuted, when you hire somebody for Clinton’s job, who pleaded guilty to doing what you accuse her of doing (albeit to a much smaller degree, but dems don’t see degrees). And Clinton DOES need to be prosecuted.
Petraeus has too much baggage; not worth it.
Bolton or Giuliani are the only options.
