The subject was pickup lines, and Germany’s “Mr. Flirt” offered a few examples to his class: “Is that your cocktail napkin? May I blow my nose in it?”

It was long ago, I was 25 and the nearby town came to life during the summer vacation season. We were oddities, the only Americans for 200 miles, and I've never seen such a concentration of newly divorced women.

That was a joke! I am not a teacher though I have homeschooled for years.
I just wanted to teach a class to German girls how and why not to mess with these foreign Muslim men! Remember the book / movie “Not Without My Daughter”? I saw it in German, it was a big hit over there. Modern American woman (sally field) marries handsome Iranian doctor who seemed Americanized.... until she went with him and their toddler daughter to Iran, where he held their passports for safekeeping.... they were trapped there for years. The embassy told her she could go any time but her daughter would not be allowed out. So she goes underground risking both of their lives and they escape by way of the Kurds... makes it to turkey and back to the USA. Quite a story.
