To quote you, I’d bang Mittens first.

I’d bang her head, against a wall. Her regressive pop tax is pure Stalinism.

Soda tax: So if you live close enough to another county, you can just go there to buy and avoid the tax, right?

That’s a problem for me.

But yeah, stores across the county line will be cleaning up. Stores in Cook county near the edge of the county will suffer.

My grandma used to drive to Indiana to buy her cancer sticks.

“That’s a problem for me.”

:(

Soda: We used to drive to NH to stack up on; no $0.05 “bottle bill”, BUT, you could return the cans in MA and “make” the nickel. They caught into that though.

I’ve also heard that bar-type places go to NH to buy booze with cash; those purchases/sales don’t show up on the books...

Butts: Used to pick them up on said ^^ NH trips for a cousin of my Mom’s, but we stopped when I decided that I wasn’t going to assist him in killing himself. He was pissed off, but, oh well. Spent the last 10 years of his life dying from various smoking related ailments. They were WAY cheaper though.

In Kalifornia, they passed motor voter law. So each time you went to the DMV, they also automatically registered you to vote (gee, I wonder what political party they registered under /s). Then, the creepozoid DemocRats passed another law that illegal trespassers had the ‘right’ to a driver’s license. In other words, automatic voter registration for anyone applying for a new, or replacement, driver’s license. Trump won the electoral college AND the popular vote. Billary won the right to go away. “Don’t go away mad, just go away.”
