The public land where hundreds of protesters have been camping out as they protest construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline will be closed on December 5th. That announcement was made in a letter sent by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to the Standing Rock Sioux tribe on Friday. The Associated Press reports:
The letter, provided by the tribe, says: To be clear, this means that no member of the general public, to include Dakota Access pipeline protesters, can be on these Corps lands.
It says anyone on land north of the river after Dec. 5 will be trespassing and may be prosecuted. It also says anyone who stays on the land does so at his or her own risk.
The letter, from Army Corps of Engineers Col. John Henderson, says the closure is necessary to protect the general public from violent confrontations between protesters and authorities and to protect demonstrators from illness, injury or death during North Dakotas harsh winter months. It also says that the area does not have necessary first responder services or facilities to protect people during the winter.

Clean out the rabble.
Wiff of grapeshot?
Baseball bats and buckshot for those who resist.
Barack Obama has shafted the Left by allowing this pipeline to Illinois to be built in the first place.
Obama canned the bigger better Keystone XL pipeline to Texas and allowed this one to Illinois.
Kelcy Warren, the CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, put 50-thousand into a Paul Ryan PAC this year.
The Barack Obama-Paul Ryan Dakota Access Pipeline is my estimation of what’s going on here.
Drill baby, drill.
The protesters may find out the Hard - Way why the Sioux were such fierce warriors.
Will the lefty protestors be treared by the Feds like Bundy when they protested and occupied federal lands?
yup.
North Dakota winters 1.

This has ONLY lasted as long as it has because a BLIZZARD hasn’t come through yet this season.
I'm thinking firehoses will do the trick.
They already did that.
I know. It worked!
And the weather ain’t getting any warmer around these parts.
Walk in there with some soap, a few buckets of water and a handful of work applications and they’ll be fleeing as fast as they can
Maybe bring a toddler looking at them and saying “Daddy..?”
;-)
Correct me please. I was reading that the pipeline is going where a gas pipeline already is, and that it’s not on Indian land. I will continue to try and find the article.
“Weston says indigenous people are the wardens of the land and the government cant remove them. He says they have a right to be there, and they are protecting the land and water.”
This is crap. This is a reason why the sovereignty of the Indian must be removed by Trump. They will continue to impede progress. Treat them like any other citizen and make them pay their fair amount of taxes.
Either that, give them an infinite amount of firewater.
USACoE getting a jump on ignoring obama in preparation of the Trump administration.
