President-elect Donald Trump exploded at media bigs in an off-the-record Trump Tower powow on Monday, sources told The Post.
“It was like a f—ing firing squad,” said one source.
“Trump started with Jeff Zucker and said I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed….
“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.
A second source confirmed the encounter.
“The meeting took place in a big board room and there were about 30 or 40 people, including the big news anchors from all the networks…,” the source said.
“Trump kept saying, ‘We’re in a room of liars, the deceitful dishonest media who got it all wrong. He addressed everyone in the room calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was network of liars.
“Trump didn’t say Katy Tur by name, but talked about an NBC female correspondent who got it wrong, then he referred to a horrible network correspondent who cried when Hillary lost who hosted a debate – which was Martha Raddatz who was also in the room.

Donald is the very picture of righteous indignation. He’s never been a politician before this. He’s just hopping mad over what has happened to America and I’m sure when he upbraids the press he is speaking for lots and lots of us deplorable rednecks.

Donald’s “QUITCHA LYING!” is probably as good as it gets, under classic American ideas.
How can you doubt this? What is the business of the MSM? News, just that, the news!
Who has total control of the greatest and most important news source in the world? Donald Trump! He has the power to withhold all access to his administration.
If they don't play fair, he kicks them out of his White House. If they try to fake it they get it wrong. If they have to report it second hand, they get scooped by the guys that do it right.
If Trump cuts them off completely, they dry out and wither on the vine. If they wither on the vine, their gravy train turns into a trickle of vinegar. The reporters and anchors know that access is their daily bread. If their network tries to play hardball with Donald Trump, the reporters and anchors are the ones that pay the price.
Going forward, look for Donald Trump to do some masterful manipulation of the mendacious Main Stream Media, just as he did through his whole campaign.

Not that the media isn’t filled with Democrat shills. It is. The so-called “news” media is run by pinkos and they twist the news every day to hurt America.
I get that, and Trump is certainly well within his rights to say so.
But for a President elect to call in a score of journalists and then excoriate them for being opposed to him would be petulant and childish. Not to mention considerably less than “presidential” (whatever that means) and deleterious to the existence of a free press.
the wonderful thing about this is that the media still won’t get it. And they’ll either think, “he wasn’t really talking to me”, and/or “Ok, I’ll get him back” and they’ll piss him off even more. And then Trump will really lower the hammer instead of chewing their ass. They are so arrogant they’re very likely not to come out of this alive. haha
Lurkin, I think a well founded broadside against lying was well taken and quintessentially Trump. This isn’t about what ought to be seen as seriously controversial. They’ve ginned up controversy where no reasonable person would see it.
