In fact last night megyn Kelly was having a meltdown because Flynn tweeted something critical of Islam.
Various conservative rating sites, ones I trust implicitly, rank Sessions as mediocre as far as conservatism. He gets from the high 60’s to low 80’s. Not my idea of staunch.
To the Obama Commies, yes, fighting terrorism is a shift to the right which means a shift to SANE POLICIES!

Well, we’ll have to let this take its course - which means there will be plenty of analysis of Sen. Sessions’ record. He may not be THE MOST conservative member of the Senate, but he is a whole heck of a lot more conservative than most in that swamp.

Any intelligent person would have been a fierce critic of Obama’s foreign non-policy.
Trump and company must not be concerned, but I imagine it’ll be a Dem talking point. I read the explanation of any “ties” he had with Turkish interests, and it sounded as he was far removed from the actual “lobbying.”

I very much agree. I remember after 9/11, for a few brief months, most the USA seemed to get it. We are under attack, here, we have serious deadly enemies. But then it became a left/right thing, which it should not be.

This isn’t a fantasy football league. You need to pick the best of whomever are willing in real life to do the job, and know what they are doing.

My point is that there were better picks than Sessions. Cruz would have been better.
