Why the Left Should Be Terrified of a Trump Presidency
The Observer ^ | November 16, 2016 | Michael Malice

Posted on 11/16/2016 2:04:53 PM PST by OddLane

Over the weekend President-elect Trump announced how he plans to staff his administration. Reince Priebus will represent the establishment as chief of staff, traditionally a non-ideological position whose role is enforcing the president’s will. It is with the other names that we finally start to see what Donald Trump’s presidency will look like: Rudy Giuliani, Jeff Sessions, Steve Bannon and even possibly Sarah Palin as secretary of the interior.

The big fear among Trump advocates and critics alike was that the man is a loose cannon, far too volatile to be allowed near the nuclear button. What we see instead is that he is weaving together a basket of dependables. For better or for far worse, each and every person named is a visionary (or an ideologue, if that is more palatable) who views the American left not as the loyal opposition but as Public Enemy No. 1...

Defund the Left. They have long been sucking on the teat of gov’t.

the American left not as the loyal opposition but as Public Enemy No. 1..

No that is pure emotional projection. The Right sees the Left as useless collection of lunatic snowflakes. The Left sees anyone who deviates an inch from their ideological dogmas as an enemy who must be destroyed at all costs. Case in point the current riots in the streets since the elections. Those are NOT the actions of a "loyal opposition".

“Many Americans who voted for President Obama did so as an expression of anti-racism. Like they’d been taught all their lives, it was important for them to demonstrate their strong views against prejudice. What did it gain them? They went from being suspected as being racist to being regarded as Klansmen or Nazis. This was not an improvement.”

So now the people who have viewed the right as public enemy #1 are worried that the reverse will happen.

I guess “elections have consequences” and “I won” are “America’s chickens ... coming home to roost.”

Reagan was about to start defunding the Left in his second term.

Then they suddenly pulled Iran-Contra out of their arse.

“The Observer” is published by Trump’s son-in-law Kushner.

Interesting.

“This is the Rove model that understandably enraged so many on the left:”

The Right sees the Left as useless collection of lunatic snowflakes.

BS. Most of those in control of the left, including the media, are not lunatics. They know exactly what they're doing hence their agendas of lies and bad intent. It's was the right who didn't seem have a clue.

For example, for nearly 28 years the left/globalist have had their way while the right stood gawking while compromising with them over and over and over. Many overtly aided and abetted them. In fact they compromised so much, many justifiably feel most those in D.C were all riding in the same limo, as they rolled towards globalism.

What the heck are Democrats worried about?
Do they forget that Trump was a Democrat in good standing only a few years ago?
Or do they just need the hysteria?

Apparently you’ve been in a cave or jail for the past 17 months. They have damn good reason to fear Trump. A few years ago he was just a businessman. Now he’s president elected. A few years ago many people thought Bush was a
“conservative”.

So what’s your point?

It's time to dispel the notion that leftism is just another flavor of government to choose from in America, and instead to reveal it for what it is: Anti-American Marxism. From here on out, it should be made clear that there is America and its founding principles, and then there is the left.

Conservatism is really Americanism, while leftism/"progressivism" is an alien ideology that threatens everything that makes America great and exceptional. It's long past time to make a clear distinction between America and Americans, and leftist Marxism and its anti-American followers.
