Donald Trump won 7.5 Million Popular Vote Landslide in the Heartland
Breitbart News ^ | November 15, 2016 | Michael Patrick Leahy

Donald Trump won an overwhelming 7.5 million popular vote victory in 3,084 of the country’s 3,141 counties or county equivalents in America’s heartland.

Fifty-five point seven million out of the 109.3 million Americans who cast their ballots in those counties voted for Trump, while only 48.1 million voted for Hillary Clinton, according to the latest county by county election results reported at Politico. The remaining 5.4 million voted for other candidates.

Trump’s 7.5 million popular vote landslide in America’s heartland, a resounding 7 point victory in those 3,084 counties over Clinton, 51 percent to 44 percent, gave him a 306 to 232 Electoral College landslide. (On Monday night, the director of elections in the office of Michigan’s Secretary of State said that Trump had won the state’s 16 electoral college votes by a narrow margin of 13,107 votes.)

Hillary Clinton, in contrast, had an 8.2 million vote margin in a narrow band of 52 coastal counties and five “county equivalent” cities stretching from San Diego to Seattle on the West Coast and Northern Virginia to Boston on the East Coast. That narrow band included two major cities–Washington, D.C and Baltimore, Maryland–included in the five “county equivalent” cities, and three major cities–Philadelphia, New York, and Boston–which are included in the 52 counties.

The Electoral College shows the genius of our forefathers.

On another note, they predicted the election of Obama...not as a black...but as having the votes of the gimmees via blocks.

Read 55 Men and the Constitution. It will give you the best idea of their thoughts. Paperback is cheap and it should be used in schools.

Back when the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists were debating how to move the post revolutionary war ‘America’ confederacy to a federal republic, “blocks” were called “factions.”

Even then they did not want a democracy.

I thought a ‘faction’ referred to a ‘political party.’ Or not?

HOWEVER HSITORICALLY THESE VOTES GO 67% REPUBLICAN AND INCLUDE MANY MILITARY WHCIH LOVE TRUMP...

If Trump had held rallies in Texas, he would have picked up another million votes!

Subtract the aliens, deceased, fictitious names, and duplicate votes: TRUMP WINS by 3- 4 MILLION VOTES.

If you throw out looney California, it looks like Trump had about 2.2 million more votes than Hillary in the other 49 states.

The super slow vote counting California, and some others do shouldn’t be allowed in Presidential contests. Someday their results will matter but won’t be knowable in time for a smooth transition of power. The country may not be able to afford that delay and those in responsible states will be royally pissed at the slowpokes. Senate and House races aren’t as time critical and individual states are free to hurt themselves with late state and local level returns. But they shouldn’t be free to hurt Those in other states. I know slow counting states do this in part to save money, running as many elections on one day as they can, and in part because some have ballot initiatives that by their law require voluminous documentation making ‘normal’ election voting difficult. So divide the process in some way to ensure a timely Presidential count. Military votes, traditional absentee votes, provional votes and a few special cases will still take post-election days to count but should be a small enough fraction to rarely matter. It may cost the slow states more, but paying for a timely presidential election is their responsibility and the slow rest of the election would be their choice. I’d justify the requirement by the 20th amendment. Slow vote counting hadn’t started then, but wouldn’t have mattered with terms staring at the prior March dates.

Hillary Clinton… margin in… 52 coastal counties and five “county equivalent” cities

She found Obama's 57 'states' and won them all! The rest doesn't count in her mind.
