Donald Trump’s victory confounded elite pollsters, journalists, politicians, academic experts and captains of industry. They all wrote him off as a fading gasbag. By every conventional barometer, he should have lost big time. His own party largely abandoned him. Former Republican presidents and primary rivals refused to endorse him. Donors bailed on him. His campaign staff was ridiculed as amateurish. Trump became the worst nightmare of the establishment, both Democratic and Republican.

But unnoticed during the last month of the campaigning was a growing realization among Americans that the supposedly sober and judicious Hillary Clinton was irreparably disconnected.

On the eve of the election, Clinton packed her rallies with celebrities. Sometimes the result was bizarre, as, for example, when Jay Z managed to use both the N-word and F-word in the would-be president’s presence.

Millions were unimpressed. The so-called deplorables, irredeemables and clingers of America certainly did not think the stump performances of Lady Gaga, Beyoncé or Miley Cyrus resonated themes of amenity or probity.

Good post. The radical left is truly not the new normal, no matter how loudly they cry and protest. The silent majority has spoken and are continuing to watch the media presstitutes and the leftist idealogues in academia and in government.

We can only hope that the supporters of President Trump find a way to continue to show their support no matter what the leftists throw at him.

Now that is a darn great idea, but I would be highly concerned for Trumps safety at such events. Given the radical lefts current unstable temperament, there is no being able to trust them.

But honestly, it is this image that will remain in my mind for decades to come. It is a slow, smoldering anger at the obnoxiousness of the political left and why I do happen to like Trump ongoing rallies idea.

Let us never forget what these 'democrats' did and are doing even now to 'fight' against an American agenda. Remember the press days before noting the stock market being down, even futures were down 700 points the day after the election waiting for Hillary(D) to officially concede. They said it was because of Trump being elected...ha! It was because the market feared Hillary winning. Everything we are reading today in the press is from the fringe and fringe reporting. In other words it doesn't represent the majority AT ALL!

I am trusting Trump will be able to continue to shut down the leftist Press like he did all during the election cycle once he realized the hardball they were playing. BUT, we have got to take control of Social Media and alternative news and educate people. Show them that was is being reported is fringe news, not reality, and propaganda.

It should have been noted that even Jennifer Lopez only attracted 8,000 to a free concert and a chance to see her bare a$$, on behalf of Clinton. Yet, I saw a guy on CNN boasting about the 8,000 as if it were 8 MILLION, completely ignoring Trump getting 2 and 3 times that many without anyone flashing their bare a$$.

Trump’s last rally was held in Michigan at 1 AM Tues morning, and it was late to start. Trump has other appearances on Monday.

The rally in Michigan wasn’t even announced until about noon on Monday—about 13 hours before Trump came onto the stage at 1 AM Tues AM.

Over 17,000 people showed up & WAITED for his arrival. More were outside & couldn’t get inside because of space.

On the flip side: Shrillary sent Biden to Wisconsin in the last wee of campaigning. Biden drew about 100 people at one rally—and some of those were staff.

She sent Tim Kaine to Appleton also—a town of about 72,000+++ persons/ Tim had a whopping group of bout 50 at his rally & about half of those were staff.

This kind of non enthusiasim should have told Shrillary to wear black on Tues evening while she was getting drunk.

Her base was composed of illegals & blacks looking to renew their handouts.
