"Trump is a joke"

"Trump won't get the nomination"

"Trump won't be president, guaranteed"

"Hillary is a lock"

"LAPD will not help deport immigrants"

They never, never learn.

The whole country will be LA and Southern California if we don’t get tough now.

Of course he did...Trump is no dummy...

Trump knows exactly what he’s doing...
There’s nothing he can do until Jan 20th, then just watch what happens in the next two years...

Advice to the chief is: don’t play this game with Trump. A lot of people much smarter than you have learned the hard way.

They must enforce State laws if deputized to State only.

That’s it.

If there’s some Federal law saying that officials deputized to State must enforce (not just obey) Federal laws, then how about we dig it up. That should end the debates right off. But I suspect there isn’t such a thing.

The Constitution didn’t provide for the Federal government to force states not to do things that no Constitutional author thought the states would ever do, like offer themselves promiscuously to invasion. Call it an Achilles heel, but we have the Constitution we have, not the one we might want.

If this election has demonstrated anything, it shows that we have ceded much of the United States to absolutely lawless people. We have repeatedly given in to various mongrel demographics in the hope that we might have peace.

But as we learned from Neville Chamberlain, all that surrendering only prolongs the inevitable. A Trump presidency is going to be very interesting, to say the least.

I think the rest of the Nation should deport their illegals to LA.

All these mayors who are announcing that “their” city will remain sanctuary, should put it to a vote by the people. If the people vote to remain a sanctuary, then they can either donate the funds that the feds will cut off, or vote for a big tax increase to make up for the lost funds.

What do you want to bet that even in liberal LA, SF and Mpls, the people would vote to give up the sanctuary city BS, and vote to enforce federal law.

How many Federal dollars make their way to LA? CA?

Let’s start by cutting off all Federal funding to sanctuary cities.

I sincerely hope that someone is making a list of these cities (Chicago, LA, others...) that have taken this stance. They need to be the first on the list for audits of federal funding for anything the cities receive.

Well, as CA is thinking about seceding, this will give them a small taste of life without the federal income stream.

California is a special case, or at least the worst instance of a special case.

It may be in Nevada that the whore houses are legal, but California has been acting like one in enough places that whatever the rest of the state may want is simply forgotten.

Trump has a number of cards he can play, but only the ones that are provided in the Constitution.

I might not rule out the use of the armed forces to “protect California from invasion” even if California itself doesn’t want that. That’s square out of the Constitution. Sheriffs like this might not be arrested for their 10th Amendment prerogatives, to be sure — but they would be shoved aside like the irrelevant pests they are.

Does Trump want to dare that, though. Dunno.

The Constitution did not do a lot to prevent suicide moves by states, but there are some provisions.

If the invasion prevents a “republican form of government” then it could be fought.

Civil War II? Is Donald Trump willing to be the second Abraham Lincoln to a sinful “South”?

For some reason, I don’t think the ole chief is bound to be employed too much longer.
