I think they’re going to be LUDICROUSLY wrong, but that in the process of discovering this in the school of hard knocks, many of THEIR rocky heads will melt.

Donald Trump is really an old fashioned liberal, one which would stoutly protest against our modern lefties.

“Trump has ALWAYS said he would keep those two aspects of Obamacare”

Exactly. But this is a New York Times article and they lie.

“at the hands of a man for whom he has contempt” would sound better.

But frankly, it’s hard to imagine someone as worthless as Obama having contempt for someone else.

Obama spent practically no effort over the past 8 years engaging in discussion or compromise. Aside from Obamacare, almost none of his agenda was supported by legislation. That was too much work for Mr. I-have-a-pen-and-a-phone. Practically everything he did was through executive order.

Contrast that to Reagan who was genial and persuasive, and who had a strong working relationship with liberal house Speaker Tip O’Neal. And even contrast that to Bill Clinton, who was willing to negotiate and compromise with Republicans after losing control of Congress in 1994.

Much like Sauron in Lord of the Rings, all of Obama’s works are based on he or his successor holding the Great Ring of Power. And just like Sauron, all of his works will pass away in a brief instant when Donald Trump casts the Ring into the fire on January 20, 2017.

Funny how if ISIS were to kidnap the entire staff of the NYT, I would be happy.

Wasn’t Obamacare enacted without a vote by some obscure sleight of hand called “deemed passed”?

BO is worried that he will finally get caught for his dirty connection to Hillary and is playing nice so maybe President Trump won’t look into it too hard—in my opinion. Good thing about Trump is that he won’t forget what BO as POTUS said about him. BO is a punk and always will be.

Still, President Obama’s charm and civility...

Looks like Maureen Dowd is trying out for a job as a comedian.

Pssssst - Hey Mo, keep your day job, if you know what I mean...

It seems to me Trump just took 90 minutes to say, “ let’s so lunch.”

I’m pretty sure that you’re right that there was some questionable maneuvers used for final passage. They were desperate to avoid another cloture vote in the Senate. They were only able to get it to the Senate floor the first time through the stupidity/betrayal of a Republican Senator from Maine, who lost her seat in the next election.

If you were facing the guy who holds the power to utterly consign every one of your tyrannical EOs straight to the oubliette, would you not be submissive and “charming”?

O wants a pardon but has nothing to bargain with. You could see it in their body language. He was counting on a pardon from PIAPS, tit for tat. Too effing bad.

YOU know how desperate President Obama is — as he contemplates all his accomplishments going down the drain

Yeah, that's going to happen when you rule by executive fiat, steam-rolling the opposition and refusing to listen to the wishes of the people. Payback is a b****.

I remember Dick Cheney looking at Obama with a very similar expression on his face eight years ago when Barry took his lie of office.
