The election was a mandate for Trump, not the Turtle.
me thinks he might be biased on this topic...... or to say he has a dog in this fight.....an old dog with only one tooth left.
Turtles live a long time.
Too long
ANd here it is, why Democrats and parasite RINOs were united in maintaining their respective plantations. Democrats pretending to help blacks with their vote for granted, GOPe with the military vote for granted. Both giving two shts about either.
Oh yes there is.
And that is precisely why the Framers gave us the Article V “states” method of submitting Amendments to the Constitution! Because there are some things that even Congress won’t do.
think: Article 5 convention of the states
How do we begin? We have a president ready to drain the swamp. He cant do it without our help.
“me thinks he might be biased on this topic...... or to say he has a dog in this fight.....an old dog with only one tooth left.”
Trump will have to deal with McConnell and quickly if he wants to get anything done. McConnell have absolutely no stones.
See my post 10 please.
But make no mistake: TERM LIMITS ARE INTERESTED IN *YOU*.
Need not only term limits for politicians but term limits for all government employees. Civil service should follow the up or out method of the military. Keep cutting the dead wood.
Not if someone flips them over.
He also told the Democrats that the Republicans wouldn’t use the nuclear option. He’s a traitor in the highest Senate position. He needs to go.
I thought SCOTUS ruled against term limits a few years back.Or was I just dreaming?
It did. Which is why it will require a Constitutional amendment.
So, after an appropriate amount of time, Donald Trump will come out supporting an Article V Convention of the States. Them maybe “true conservatives”, such as Mark Levin, will engage in a positive manner or not.
Click above on “ConventionOfStates” and visit the excellent and informative Article V Blog by Rodney Dodsworth.
The states have the power to Amend the Constitution without any help (or opposition) from Congress. Term Limits, repeal of the 17th Amendment and a Balanced Budget Amendment are the top considerations right now.
The 17th Amendment, just to save you from having to look it up, took away the power of state legislatures to appoint their own Senators and gave that power to the people through popular elections, which many now see was a mistake. Imagine if Senators focused solely on the interests of their home state, without the corrupting influences of campaign contributions and popular culture.
