Thanks a bunch. As I just told someone on another thread, I am an unemployed housewife with lots of time on my hands. I am willing to do whatever I can to assist our nation in moving this along. Guidance is what I need and you have given me that.

Had a doc appt this morning and mulled this over during my long drive. It seems to me that this must also involve state politicians, many of whom strive to be one of those national congressmen. In that light, this sounds like a daunting task given that they won't want those term limits either. I'm not backing down, just verifying that as accurate.

Good point!

If term limits apply to state as well as federal politicians, why would state pols push for a Convention of the State? Hadn’t considered that!

State term limits would be up to the individual states. Yes it seems to be a failure in California but everything sensible is a failure there. California as it currently is, is a “failed state”!
