Excuse me for being optimistic, ( I haven't watched ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, CNN news in eons ) but how does she maintain the 43% Floor? I don't see it.

With a survey the other day of 34% of her voters are less likely or not enthused to vote for her take away 1/3 from that, does she drop as low as 28% or somewhere in the high 30's? "Sundance" over @ CTH has mentioned numbers in the high 30's before...

How I would love to see the media bastards all glum again as they were in 1980. That is the last true victory we had nearly 40 years ago. Most of my adult life has been spent watching the nation burn down. 16 years out of the last 37.

In addition to her other numerous problems Hillary has to worry about these “donors” who will not be pleased with her defeat on Tuesday. No doubt Bill and Hillary dealt with some very bad people. Just be glad you’re neither Bill or Hillary Clinton right about now. What goes around comes around and I’m sure those two are going to learn that lesson big time!

No, I think they’re right. They say 88% of VOTERS (i.e. registered) are sure how they’re vote. That’s ALL voters. The 45% for Trump is LIKELY voters. Subtle difference, but important.

They don’t tell you what % of LIKELY voters are “sure.”

Maybe they're lying but there are other possible explanations. There's plenty of BS going around and I don't want to imagine more where it isn't.

This could be a quick calculation of the raw responses. While

Trump leading Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton 45%...

is run through their model.

It could be a valid argument for them to say that the model only applies to the entire data set so they cannot (should not) run the 88% numbers through it. I managed a statistical model for 6+ years and clients frequently tried to use it on response subsets. And when I couldn't convince them not to the results were not nearly what they should have been in most cases.

That's not to say their model is correct. The 88% number could be reality. But the two results cannot be compared if they were not run through the same model, and that may not be statistically valid to do.

They may or may not be intentionally misleading by presenting both sets of numbers this way but the numbers are not necessarily in disagreement.

Do not think this is over until it’s over. Vote and then go celebrate because this way people relax then may not go vote since they think it’s already in the bag.
