I have already voted by paper mail in, and I did not vote straight R. We have one RINO senator, and there is no way I could vote for him at all.

I vote straight R for a reason. Yes, some rino’s get elected in the process, but republicans down the ballot are judges, county officials and local officials. These are the future national level politicians. If we elect dims at the local level, then we get screwed from Washington and from our county.

Just remember, they can’t legally make you leave if the problem is unresolved. ELection officials are REQUIRED to attend a class on the responsibilities of their jobs but we still need to know our rights.

Honestly, working the election is a challenge because little parts of the law change with every election. At least it always seemed so to me.

I have run into only 2 people who seemed dishonest to me in 28 years and those were both in the 80’s. But they are out there. Knowing our rights, knowing who to contact and being the squeakiest danged wheel around are your weapons.

Any threats or violence in the polling place can legally get you thrown out so perseverance, tenacity and insistence on your rights with calm and quite persuasion is your aim.

The evoting fraud happens well above the level of election worker.

The election worker is your first notification. They are REQUIRED to document all problems and turn them in.

The Secretary of State at the link I posted is the other notification necessary. If the contested ballots/machines haven’t been documented we have no recourse.

And if the election worker threatens to call the cops at your suggestion everything isn’t above board, then what?

Not everyone can afford (financially) a visit through the justice sytem. And I live in a VERY blue county...what do you think would happen to me?

Do you have a cell phone? Can you call the state election office? I know their hours post as 8-5 but they are open and take calls on election day beginning at 7 and not stopping till all polls in the state close.

Sorry, but I should have verified you are in Texas. I have only been an election judge in Texas.

At the polling place in a blue precinct the election judge will be a Rat but the assistant election judge is required to be from the other party. Might be a Rino or might be a real conservative. I hear you having legitimate concerns. I think it might be worth your while to make a few calls to the local “R” party and identify who that assistant judge will be. Call them and share your concerns. If you’re able to find out who that election assistant is at least you will know the best person to call over if you are having to vote at a machine that does it wrong. You still have the right to request a paper ballot UNLESS that has been changed since 2012, the last election I worked.

Also, I would add, if you know in advance your election judge is crooked, use the “report a complaint” form on the SoS site and report before the election.

My SOS is a nevertrumper.

Now what?

I’m not in TX.

I haven’t had faith in the vote at my precict since ‘14 when the evoting machines mysteriously lost their paper tape ballot backup in the first McDaniel primary vs. Cochran.

I am sorry, I just checked that you are in New Jersey. I have knowledge only of Texas poll working.

I still think a call to your local Republican headquarters is in order to discuss this. Good luck and I’m saying a prayer. I have a niece that married a fellow from New Jersey and lives up there. I know she’s voting conservative too. Hope it goes right for both of you.

I’m not in NJ any longer. (but I distinctly recall the mechanical voting machines arriving at my precict with votes already loaded on them. And no, I didn’t complain. It’s Joisey, I had no desire to end up in the concrete pylons of of the turnpike someplace).

With trillions of dollars at stake in this election. And criminal charges likely in BOTH parties should their doings come to light, what do YOU think will happen to squeaky wheels?

I get it.

The whole reason I ended up working with elections so many years ago was that I knew they were crooked in my town. I started as a poll watcher and caught them. I was villified in the entire county by tax and spend libs but we got the 2nd rigged election recounted and my candidate won. But they'd already screwed us royally in the first election. I remained a poll watcher for about 16 years for various conservative candidates (along with some other ladies) and I think that kept 'em honest but damage was done.

Anyways, I found that when you do the poll watching you can change how things are done. There is a cost in reputation in the community tho. I remarried a few years back and when my husband shopped for us a new home I asked that it not be in the old voting precinct. The RATS are not in charge there anymore and by the 2000's I had my Republican precinct chair position which made me election judge. I was honest. MY work is done there. I am too old to want to fight with their comments.

That said, I would do it all over again in my new town if things were crooked. I'd rather have a good name for fighting corruption than be villified for attacking the good ol boys. It would not be as bad now tho because my kids had to take a lot of bullstuff in school due to my activism. They are grown now and neither of them wanted to live in that town either.

Poll watching is very 20th century. Very anachronistic.

There’s no way to change evoting fraud by ‘watching’.

That’s what we’re up against unfortunately.

Maybe the term is misleading. You dont just watch. You can legally challenge a number of things from whether a voter is really eligible to the behavior of the paid election workers to the counting of the votes.

As a watcher, I have personally challenged the right for a number of people to vote that I didn't think lived in the precinct. Some showed they moved in, in every case I found out it was correct. CHallenged one absentee vote from a person in the nursing home that it was known had not spoken or been lucid in months. That was thrown out. I've also registered challenge to the count, our candidate lost by 4 votes, there was a recount due to my documentation and my candidate won by a few votes, can't remember that number.
