Another gushy movie about President Obama will surface a month after the election.
The Root reported that Netflix will be releasing an original movie, Barry, documenting Obama’s early college years. The teaser trailed released Thursday featured a brazenly inspirational message that read, “Before he gave hope, before he created change, before he made us believe ‘we can,’ he was Barry.” This gushy movie probably doesn’t resemble anything like the 2006 movie portraying the fictional assassination of George Bush, Death of a President.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the official description for the move states, “In a crime-ridden and racially charged environment, Barry finds himself pulled between various social spheres and struggles to maintain a series of increasingly strained relationships with his Kansas-born mother, his estranged Kenyan father, and his classmates.”
The inspiring description continues, “Barry is the story of a young man grappling with those same issues that his country, and arguably the world, are still coming to terms with 35 years later.” Like what in the world a community organizer does.
Netflix will stream the film on December 16, when Vulture predicts “we’ll already be feeling the pangs of nostalgia as the Obamas get set to leave the White House. Don’t go, Barry!”
Directed by Vikram Gandh, the film will star Devon Terrel, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ashley Judd, Jenna Elfman, Ellar Coltrane and Jason Mitchell.
One month ago, media also gushed over Southside With You, a film about the President and First Lady’s first date.
I just threw up in my mouth, again.
Before he gave hope, he gave head?
Of course, getting ahold of his actual school records, or even hearing from a single human being who knew him in those days, is totally impossible.
If not, then it’s not worth watching.
Maybe his high school friends will step forward and confirm Baraq’s boast that he stole ice cream from Baskin Robbins.
Ask Reggie Love.
I ####ing TOLD my wife NO MORE netflix gift cards like three times till she finally got it.
But I have FREE service until January!!
Then it’s gone.
I almost NEVER use it.
Their shows are wildly left wing and rabidly anti Christian.
I have amazon prime, and I KNOW what amazon stands for, but now with the football boycott and since I dont watch TV besides that, I NEED MY VICE!!
‘Before He Did Dope...He Was Barry’
I wonder if it will have any scenes where he’s getting fellated as a Honolulu teen by older, white, wealthy tourists in return for cocaine for freebasing..?
Or developing a very solid reputation among all his Honolulu friends as being an enormous, egotistical LIAR...?
When you picture him as 'barry' ... without the heroic victim lion king kenyan name, you just see him as a scamming choomer.
Remember - he helped no black people. HIs legacy is nothing, OCare will be destroyed and remembered only for its cost.
There IS no legacy ... just a long depressing stretch ... hope lost.
Sometimes to use a humble moniker works ... if the man is actually a hero, if he left deeds to refute the humble name. THEN the humble name highlights his accomplishments - the contrast does the highlighting.
In this case, it only downsizes his name to fit his accomplishments and broken promises to those who believed in 'Barack!'
Barry Soetoro ... just another teen loser scam artist with a fake winning smile, working a long con, selling you a fake rolex every 15 minutes during the longer con.
"Barry Go Home" would be a better title - at this point it's how most blacks feel, but hey, I'll take 'Barry.'
Think it's time Americans (This is more properly a Democrat problem) started striving to not identify with color again ... MLK was right about that ... he must be choking on his own puke in his grave.
You can at least watch Justified on Amazon Prime. Just love that show.
I have Netflix-——and love it.
I just won’t watch “Barry”.
Problem solved.
.
I can report with confidence that my gag reflex is working properly.
He’s a halfrican.
They shouldn’t feel any different than a White man does.
He has betrayed us all.
Nostalgia: A longing for home or familiar surroundings; homesickness.
Mine will be Nostalgia by Proxy as in "Barry, you're giving me a pain. Go home already."
