IS THE SYSTEM RIGGED? YOU BETCHA
WND ^ | 10/17/2016 | Pat Buchanan

Posted on 10/17/2016 4:32:50 PM PDT by mojito

...Is the system rigged? Ask yourself.

For half a century, the U.S. Supreme Court has systematically de-Christianized and paganized American society and declared abortion and homosexual marriage constitutional rights.

Where did these unelected jurists get the right to impose their views and values upon us, and remake America in their own secularist image? Was that really the court’s role in the Constitution?

How did we wind up with an all-powerful judicial tyranny in a nation the Founding Fathers created as a democratic republic?

There are more than 11 million illegal immigrants here, with millions more coming. Yet the government consistently refuses to enforce the immigration laws of the United States.

Why should those Americans whose ancestors created, fought, bled and died to preserve America not believe they and their children are being dispossessed of a country that was their patrimony – and without their consent?

When did the country vote to convert the America we grew up in into the Third World country our descendants will inherit in 2042?

As usual Pat is spot on. The Media is like a hostile foreign army with immense power operating with impunity within our borders.

There is only one way to defeat this army.....

Good read as usual from Pat. Sad to see him somewhat buying into a Clinton win in November.

"Progressive" regressives like Hillary view citizens as voting blocks, groups, none worthy of individual attention--except those from whom she can extract personal loyalty and great wealth or power for her family.

Great leaders have studied the history of nations, and their learning and grounding is based in the wisdom of the ages. Such leaders see each individual as they see themselves--persons created in the image of their Maker, capable of achieving great things and worthy of great honor.

For example, that great intellect and 33-year-old author of America's Declaration of Independence declared:

"State a moral case to a ploughman and a professor. The former will decide it as well, & often better than the latter, because he has not been led astray by artificial rules." - Thomas Jefferson
The "artificial rules" of progressivism are leading America into loss of its once-unique place as a "shining beacon of liberty" and a place of mediocrity among the nations of the earth.

What put the Court in this spot? The Constitution did.

Who worked to make the law of civil rights “sexy”? Generations of activists did.

Blunt truth: there isn’t a single scheme of man that does not have some Achilles’ heel in it somewhere.

Rigged? Many criminals/collectivists/socialists/totalitarians never stop unless incarcerated or eliminated. Their ultimate goal is the complete subjugation of the individual to the gang/mob/collective/government. Witness history. Witness current events. There were never any safeguards (check$ and balance$?) built into the constitution. The “separation of powers” dissipated when the criminals/collectivists/socialists/totalitarians stole the check$ and took over the balance$. We are here...

The abuse is accelerating.

11. As soon as sufficient progress in the intended change shall have been made, and the public mind duly prepared according to the rules already laid down, it will be proper to venture on another and a bolder step toward a removal of the constitutional landmarks.

The ballot box has been irredeemably perverted.

I wonder what’s next.

>>...11 million illegal immigrants here...<<

Those scoundrels in gubbamint have been using the 11 million number for two decades.

The globalist have flooded this country with three times this number and now successful in their goal of changing the voter demographics in this country forever.

It has been rigged since being a REAL PROPERTY owner ceased to be a requirement.

What put the Court in this spot? The Constitution did.

Actually, the Constitution did not empower the court as we know it today. Beginning with John Jay, the justices accumulated power to themselves and have continued to do so unchallenged throughout American history.

The Constitution makes the judiciary the third branch (Article III). Section 2 of Article III provides only very limited powers to the court. Following are the court's Constitutional powers, verbatim:

The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;—to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;—to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction;—to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;—to Controversies between two or more States;— between a State and Citizens of another State,—between Citizens of different States,—between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.

In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.

The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be by Jury; and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed.

Nothing in there about them having the kind of oppressive unilateral power they wield today.

Excellent points. The courts power evolved over time, but the “original sin” if you will....was the Marbury vs Madison case which established judicial review & all the troubles that followed with it.

There was a law in NYC or maybe NY State that if someone didn’t vote for 4 years, they were taken off the rolls. Then that was challenged by the let-everybody-stay-on-the-rolls people. Then that was challenged. Now it’s back pretty much the way it was. They send you several notices. If you ignore them all, you’re off. Gets rid of the dead people and those who are voting in another state but moved out of NY long ago.

Sounds about right to me.

= = = = = = = = =
Remember the ‘running gag’ years ago about retirees moving to Florida but still voting in their ‘home state’.

Probably a lot truer that imagined OR if it weren’t it is now.

I always tied the downward descent (in my lifetime) to when it became ‘officially decreed’ an automobile or such was deemed ‘replaceable property’ and you couldn’t forcibly stop anyone from ‘stealing it’.
